I'm just cringing at the amount of times I used :heehee:, :kink: and :rofl: at things that weren't remotely suggestive or really even that funny. And I was 21 at this point with a 2:1 degree behind me - dear god. At least we're all in the same boat of being embarrassed by our past posts/style!

It's really just a presentation thing. Come results time (hopefully early Saturday evening) we will reveal which of each pair scored best, and then which of each of the two pairs has qualified for the final. Think of it as two heats of four entries. Hope that helps :)

It's really to avoid the hassle of having to have 2 voting windows. In Melodifestivalen there are 4 duels of two, with the winner of each making two duels of two, with the winner of each of those qualifying.

 

That's how it's working here, but by grouping them into two groups of four and asking people to vote accordingly, it means after the winner of each of the four duels has been announced, instead of re-opening the voting, we can use the votes we've already recieved to determine the winners.

Thanks for all the votes so far, had 6 from non-participating (jury) countries, but still waiting on the same number from participants in this heat. Reminders will be going out tomorrow morning...

I'm going to give these a listen now. Will either vote based on one listen of each track, or have another listen to the tracks tomorrow night before submitting my votes.
