May 25, 201114 yr Seems a bit odd if it's true. Apparently the crowds at the auditions loved her and didn't have a problem with her accent and it seems like people there are actually warming to her. Or maybe it was just simon's plan all along to do this just so that people would be talking about her (and will be a lot more now) so she could launch her music career over there. also I bet simon panicked when Dannii quit our version so he's trying to get Cheryl back in there to try and save it.. May 25, 201114 yr Oh Andre, I didn't realise you were a Cheryl loon :( Not a loon, a FAN! :P I am devastated but not surprised by the Cheryl/Nicole news (if true.) I didn't think she'd be successful in the role but I thought it'd at least get to airing before she's sacked. Nicole would be a very good replacement though, granted.
May 25, 201114 yr Author If she is out, [please note the use of the word IF there Cheryl Stans] then the only reason she's been axed is because she hasn't tested well. Fox are notoriously ruthless and this show is a MASSIVE gamble with a 3 season pick-up before it's even aired and they've signed a good chunk of their fall schedule over to the show as well as spending a $h!t load of money. There is no way Cheryl was going to last if the test groups couldn't understand her or they disliked her. The fact that she is a non-entity in the US has always been working against her so she's always been a sitting duck, by that I mean she's the easiest to axe in the event of problems or backlash because her fanbase in the US is microscopic.
