This song is maybe one of her best, but the video has always been rather dull. I still remember watching this for the first time and being so disappointed.

the video is STUNNING

The videos simplicity makes it stand out tbh, especially as up until that point her videos were full throttle, movie like videos with many moments, layers and at times an OTT feel.

 

This stands out in that it’s subdued and it kinda lets the song do the talking too. I like the video more now than I did at the time of release I think I’ve appreciated it way more over the years. There’s a certain scene where she kisses the ground and I love that part of the video!
