May 25, 201114 yr Author After a few more listens.. I'm dissapointed. Red One is really hit and miss.. The only part I actually like is Aston singing "Direct me to the floor and turn it up some more" This is why I never trust Popjustice Reviews
May 25, 201114 yr This is terribly bland and lazy. I hate how RedOne rehashed the "LA to Africa" from On The Floor.
May 25, 201114 yr the 'oh oh oh' parts sound like I'm Not Alone/Yeah 3x AGAIN! very generic and throwaway if I'm being honest, but its not awful like what could be said of TCIA
May 25, 201114 yr It hurts my ears, and they are so autotuned its hard to make out what they're singing. Dev
May 25, 201114 yr It hurts my ears, and they are so autotuned its hard to make out what they're singing. Dev  I havent heard it yet... but the review of it said it wasn't autotuned? So is it autotuned or not?
May 25, 201114 yr Better than TCIA but not really good :( I dont see why they're moving on from album 2 so fast! I would love Wanted & Jls to release the same week.
May 25, 201114 yr I actually quite like it! Def on par with One Shot and Eyes Wide Shut! Nice summery track, but I really hope they see sense and bring the release date forward...its ridiculous leaving it till the end of JULY! Edited May 25, 201114 yr by Crowan
May 25, 201114 yr First listen and I think its a strong song - yes in the same vein as I'm Not Alone, Yeah 3x and Eyes Wide Shut - but its still a decent song.... just not that original. Certainly better than the Wanted's new track that for sure. Was autotuned in parts; but not as much as some suggesting above.... July release is a little late IMO - but should go to Number 1 for sure
May 25, 201114 yr Oh my God. I really should dislike this, but this is everything 'The Club Is Alive' should have been, imo. It's excellent! Really hope they bring the release date forward for it, as I think it'd sound better in HQ. But it's without a doubt better than The Wanted's $h!t new single.
May 25, 201114 yr It sounded autotuned, or it might have been the quality of it, as it was a recorded version of the Capital play..
May 25, 201114 yr It sounded autotuned, or it might have been the quality of it, as it was a recorded version of the Capital play.. From what I could hear the main vocals were normal and the backing track had some auto tune stuff on it - however again the quality on the DS page wasn't great :D
May 26, 201114 yr On first listen I like it but it sounds like everything else out there. It sound exactly like Till The World Ends/Blow/We R Who We R mixed with Yeah 3X. It just seems to me that these boys are just going along with the current trends and really have no orginality at all. That said, I will probably download the song as it is decent but I can see myself getting sick of these sort of songs now. I am also glad this will probably be the first #1 for the fabulous Dev. May 26, 201114 yr better than club is alive but still quite poor in my opinion...:/ i think they are getting complacent now as they know anything they release will sell...

May 26, 201114 yr I echo most of what's been said, it's certainly nothing resembling original (perhaps they should have got the Cataracs in after all) but it's fun enough. Not to the same standard as Beat Again, but miles ahead of The Club Is Alive.
May 26, 201114 yr HATED Beat Again HATED Everybody in Love HATED One Shot HATED The Club Is Alive (with a passion) Didn't mind Love You More Kinda like Eyes Wide Shut LOVE this  I really don't like JLS, but I love this song!! I know everyone says it's 'On the Floor pt.2' - But how does it sound like OTF? Just the L.a. to Afreeka bit, nothing else! And, no I'm not a 13 year old girl.....

May 26, 201114 yr I wonder if this is the song they paid for at the Charity Auction an oppurtunity to record with RedOne-if so they should have spent the money more wisely. It is not good at all.
May 26, 201114 yr you can tell red one wasn't too fussed about making a great song for jls.... i can imagine him just being like jl who? oh that boyband, ok give me 10 mins and ill throw something together and let them mess around with a couple of lyrics...judging by the song i wouldnt imagine this to be far from the truth..
