MOLLY!!!!!

His beard is very pretty

Odds on the year Eric Saade will come out of the closet;

2011 - 10/1

2012 - 5/1

2013 or later - 11/10

Never - 100/1

Has livepopbars.com froze, the %s haven't changed for ages!

CBA to do another full Eurovision update (there's not that much movement anyway), but:

Blue still #11

Jedward up to #21

Ell & Nikki up to #32

Blue [2] down to #39

Eric Saade up to #40

A Friend In London up to #42

Lena up to #63

Kati Wolf up to #68

Zdob Şi Zdub back up to #73 :D

How would you go about pronouncing 'Saade' anyway? Been wondering that for a while.

Hopefuly Nicole overtakes Rihanna soon. . They will certainly be battling it out for a top 5/10 peak in early June. . Seems like Alexis Jordan and Katy B's singles are out of contention, they are far off the pace from Rihanna and Nicole's. .

Halfway in between Sah-duh and Sah-day iirc. Anyway Phil will be happy. It's nice to see Eurovision making an impact on the charts.

:cheer: HE WILL BE POPULAR!!!!!!

Amazing to see Scandipop in the top40

Like the Swedish voiceover from the National Final:

So "Saah-deh" roughly.

If he was Norwegian the Aa would be a different way of writing the letter Å and it would be pronounced Saaw-deh

I think (and hope) Nicole's does better, as I think it's a better song, and it's got the single version to help it, whilst Rihanna's single version is the same as the album version, I believe.

Although I still haven't actually heard the 50 Cent version of Right There on the radio yet?! :o Perhaps they haven't distributed it yet. I've only heard the album version so far.

I really hope Hush Hush takes off though. :( It's amazing!

I was NOT expecting 'Born This Way' to climb all the way up to #13 after Graham Norton! :o Both that and 'Judas' could climb into the top 10 after her live show at Radio 1's Big Weekend is shown tonight! :o
Kind of related - do any radio stations take requests, like US stations? Radio 1 obviously don't , as they have their fixed playlists (apart from request show obv), but do Capital etc listen to text requests/emails and play songs accordingly (even though they have a playlist).
Eric Saade top 40 in the UK!

and hell freezes over :o

Silas dead.

It MUST go top40 in the Midweeks. I'd love to see the faces of the people at Radio1 when they realise they have to play it

Yes. Even Radio 1 take requests. A lot of radio stations have designated request shows where they only play requests from listeners. Radio 1 sometimes do this thing where they give everyone a minute to text songs in, and they randomly choose three of them and play them. So that's one way to get album tracks and stuff played on there.

I know on Capital in the night sometimes, they take requests from Twitter and Facebook (i.e. it's a way to get everybody to like and follow them, and to get more people to go on their website ).

Yeah, i'm always texting in 'Dance in the Dark' on Greg James' '10 minute countdown', praying that they'll play it at least once lol :kink:

And i guess Capital do always mention that "this song has been requested by many"...

And the chart is at 6 today (i think). Hopefully TEOG can get top 5!

Yeah. I have actually heard Dance in the Dark on the radio before. But I guess it's even less likely to be played now, now that the era is over and everything. It's still worth a try though.

And I think a bit of the problem is that they get so many requests, that they usually choose the most requested songs, which 90% of the time is a new single that's climbing up the charts.

But I know in the US, where radio requesting is an even bigger thing than it is here, some fanbases organize mass-request sessions. I don't know how those actually work out though.

I'm suprised that Judas isin't doing as good as expected.

No doubt after 9pm we should be expecting Edge Of Glory to be around 6th and Judas to be 10th.

It's funny how Radio 1 never seem to play Eurovision-related songs, yet:

> BBC broadcast Eurovision every year in the UK;

> Sara Cox / Scott Mills presented the semi-finals on BBC Three this year.

Top 10 Battle

Jennifer 42.6% vs Blue 39.8%

Now 42.4% vs 39.0% (0.6% drop) :(

Eric Saade could do a Yohanna, top 40 on the mids but then miss out on Sunday. Although I think he may do worse than that and Ell & Nikki will do a Yohanna.

Probably. I don't see Ell and Nikki going much higher on iTunes. It'll just be Blue and Jedward in the top 40. It would be nice to have 3 Eurovision records in the top 40 for once!
