I've lost count of the amount of times I've watched EastEnders on BBC3 just before going out and then had to watch it again the next day because I couldn't remember watching it in the first place.

But yeah you start uni and think I'LL HAVE NO TIME FOR ANYTHING IT'LL BE CONSTANT LECTURES AND PARTYING but it really isn't. You can go to lectures, party most nights of the week, and still find yourself with bags of time for watching TV or just being a lazy bitch.

Tbh, I'm doing a musical theatre course, so even if I'm not in lessons, I'll be in rehearsals or singing lessons etc.etc. I really hope I get time as I like to just relax. :kink:
I think Awake has actually become my most anticipated of the new pickups. It looks absolutely heartbreaking and incredibly sombre and emotional. Jason Isaacs seems like such an inspired casting choice. He's a bloody fantastic actor and even in that trailer where he's having a mundane conversation with a therapist he radiates empathy and charisma.

These are the shows that (as of right now) I'm anticipating:

NBC

Are You There Vodka?

I f***ing LOVE Chelsea Handler - but I cannot STAND Laura Preppon.. and I don't see this doing well!

I just watched the trailer for Smash and :o  :o  :o  :o Words can't describe how excited I am to see that. It's exactly what I love to watch! :w00t: :w00t:

Don't watch the last ten seconds if you don't want to know one of the twists:

New extended preview. Looks fantastic, the show I'm most excited about.

I didn't previously know about that twist before, but now I do I'm even more excited.

Ringer looks incredible. Really looking forward to seeing it, just not as much as Smash. :kink:

Got a chance to watch some preview today

Ringer looks brilliant. Great storyline. Very promising. I hope its a hit. It doesn't fit in with the other shows on CW so i am a bit doubtful.

Scandal looks really great. Nice to see Kerry washington on tele. Seen her in several roles and always thought she was good actress.

Once upon a time gives me a movie vibe. It looks great. Seems very expensive though

Surbagtory - Seems really quirky and funny. I think it could either be a modest hit or a total flop.

The secret circle - Nice to see witches back on tv. I like the storyline. The whole moving to a town and uncovering your dead mum's secrets. This is bound to be a huge hit alongside Vampire diaries.

Smash - I like the concept of this surrounding Marilyn monroe and just the theatre world. I also think it has a potentially great cast. Katherine Mcphee seems like a very promising actress. I think Smash could be a huge hit with loads of critical acclaim and a frontrunner for several awards.

Out of the ABC shows Once Upon A Time looks f***ing great. Work It, Man Up, Last Man Standing however seem f***ing awful.

All of the ABC comedies apartment from Apt 23 look shocking. Perhaps Suburgatory could be half decent. I literally do not understand how Work It got greenlit.

Nobody would believe they are women. They could pick up some of Dustin Hoffman's tricks. He was a believable woman!

The post Super Bowl slot, to air on NBC on Sunday 5th February, has just been handed to The Voice :o A safe choice, but I thought it would've been a good slot to try and launch 'Awake' out of.

They could've used it to launch 'Smash', but I guess 'The Voice' premiers Sunday, those viewers tune in the day after as well, on the Monday, and they stay tuned in for the premier of 'Smash' straight after TV on Monday - win win situation.

I'm in two minds about that. On the one hand if they're looking to cement The Voice as the biggest talent show on TV then it's a bloody good slot. On the other hand they could really do with launching a drama in the post-Superbowl slot because The Voice is already a big hit...

Extended Hart of Dixie trailer... it's vaguely spoilerish so don't watch if you don't want an idea of what'll happen in the first few eps.

I reckon I'll watch the first episode but I'm in two minds about it. It looks really bloody cheesy and sentimental.

I'll deffo be watching The Secret Circle and Ringer.

Don't know what other new shows I shall give a watch though.

Hart of Dixie looks so unbelievably naff. That'll be one that I won't be watching.

Has some promise, but the most CW type show of the three new scripted shows (creators of Gossip Girl, after all). Don't see if getting a 2nd season (I know, we're yet to see a full episode, but sometimes you can just tell). May check it out if I have any time.

I know I didn't complain about the spoiler in the Ringer preview, because

it seems like a big twist and makes me a lot more interested

, but I just felt we didn't need to know this time, I would've checked it out

without knowing he was her father

.
