I gave up on 2 Broke Girls. Not that it stopped being funny but I have to really be in the mood for Kat Jennings' subtle-as-a-brick style of sarcasm. Plus there's only so many hipster jokes you can take.

Not seen the latest Smash yet but it rose a little in the ratings this week (2.4, up from 2.3 last week) so it looks like it will stay in the 2s for its run now. Lock for renewal!

We all know Bones is probably going to get cancelled within the next year anyway...

Don't say things like that! Bones will run forever and ever!

It's ratings have been improving year on year and with most of the stuff on Fox dropping like flies. It's going to be the ideal place for Fox to launch new dramas.

So Awake opened with a pretty pathetic 1.9. NBC are utterly fucked aren't they? If they can't make a show this good a hit there's really no hope.

1.9 wouldn't be horrific in the 10pm hour for a show this time of year, but for a premier it's bad. Awake may be lucky and stabilise/grow POI style but if it doesn't it's DOA.

Poor NBC is screwed. The real big irony is that part of the reason NBC is so screwed is because it's cable channels are offering better shows and more people are flocking there instead.

Maybe a lot of people watched it on iTunes beforehand? It has been available for two weeks I guess. Sucks really, as it's a great show. But it's probably too intelligent, and confusing for a major network.

I don't buy the iTunes excuse, being available before the premiere seemed to do no damange for Once Upon A Time/Revenge/New Girl/Smash or even Grimm.

A 1.9 is pathetic but if it stuck at a 1.9 it would get renewed on NBC. I don't know how much room it has to fall though, a 1.9 could get it a second season but I'm not as convinced that a 1.5 would, even for NBC.

'The Finder' moving to Fridays from April 6th, mildly surprised they aren't just sending it to summer.

I think if it could stabilise at 1.6 or above Awake would be fine... unfortunately I think it'll hemorrhage viewers. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen.

No way in hell it's getting a third season if by some miracle it makes it to season 2. Not at these ratings.

Fox are shipping The Finder to Friday's beginning April 6th to be the lead in to Fringe. If it doesn't drop too badly there is a chance it'll pick up a second season. If it hits Fringe numbers is gone.

Not looking good for The Finder though.

I *loved* GCB. Pretty much anything Kristin Chenoweth touches is gold in my eyes though.

Yeah pretty bad numbers, but that's their fault for putting it at 10pm after a dying DH, when it really should be at 9 after OUAT. That's what they were clearly going for next season.

Not sure if I'm gonna bother watching now, I'll wait a few more weeks to see if the ratings hold up. No point in watching a show that's heading for cancelville

The half-hour drop gives me a glimmer of hope - 2.3, 2.2 so it barely lost any of its audience. In theory it could give a 2.0 next week... they do need to put it at 9 though as a matter of urgency.

Yeah I hope it can stabilize at least. It still baffles me that they put this at 10pm. DH with its current ratings is in no shape to serve as a lead in to a new show. Plus its in its final season, it doesn't need a high profile slot anymore. I think GCB would've benefited a lot from OUAT, and even though competition is tougher at 9pm, the competition clearly skews male, while GCB is obviously female orientated.

Terra Nova won't be back for a second season, at least not on Fox which has decided not to renew the show for a second season. Unsurprisingly, the studio (Twentieth Century Fox Television) is keeping hope alive saying it will shop the show to other networks.

No big surprise.

Well that was obvious given how long it took for them to announce it, given it takes a lot longer to make than most shows. I do hope someone picks it up (although I would be surprised) as it finally started to show potential across the last few episodes.
I thought it might get renewed. A few FOX dramas have bombed, so I thought they might renew Terra Nova. I guess this gives Fringe fans hope that it will be renewed now..

Terra Nova was far too pricey to be renewed at the ratings it was getting. Going for Alcatraz would make more sense financially.

It'd be different if this was the end of TN's 3rd season and it needed just one more to hit syndication, Fox would renew it then as they would take the syndication revenue.
