Posted May 18, 201114 yr Hard Fi - Good For Nothing UK0bRhrVn6M Still unsure about the track, hopefully it will grow on me, its not Hard To Beat and Cash Machine though
May 18, 201114 yr Like it, and sounds like a grower. Zane Lowe's backing it so hopefully it can do well :)
May 18, 201114 yr This is so Clash-like but in a good way. I really like it, way more than any other thing they've released.
May 18, 201114 yr They're still a going concern? :o I thought all these 'indie' (but really just gritty guitar pop) groups simultaneously called it a day or went into hibernation at some point halfway through 2008?
May 18, 201114 yr well it's quite good, but it's not that catchy as their others singles! I always thought that Hard-Fi were always a bit lumpen and leaden but this seems a bit different to me. It's got a bit of life.
May 18, 201114 yr I used to like them a lot, still do in a way but I think I may have outgrown them a bit. This is alright, but doesn't quite hit the mark for me. I always had a thing for their lead singer though, I don't know why.
May 19, 201114 yr I heard this for the first time earlier on. I thought it was a Kasabian track. At least the band have made a progression. Unfortunately, they've made the progression back to 2004. It's got grower written on it though.
May 19, 201114 yr I like this a lot! Some britpop elements there imo. Their second album is very underrated. Of course it's not as good as 'Stars of CCTV' but contains some great Robbie Williams -esque tunes.

There's 5 or 6 very good songs on it.
May 19, 201114 yr It doesn't even sound like them! It's okay I suppose...kind of over them though. I'll probably still check out the album when it's out.
May 19, 201114 yr I think like Aly, I've really outgrown this sort of music in my older years. I love both their first two albums, but it's been three and a half years since their last album. Saying that, the song is a huge grower. Hated it when I first heard it, but it's growing on me now. V.weak chorus for me mind...
May 19, 201114 yr Author I must admit the track is growing on me a fair bit now, at first I was in two minds over it. I hardly play their first album these days I must hunt the album out sometime, I didn't bother with their second album.
May 19, 201114 yr The second was very badly represented by the first two singles. It really has some tunes that are the equal of anything of the first one - The King being a great example. oh7Arh9M3OM Edited May 19, 201114 yr by tonyttt31
May 20, 201114 yr It still bothers me to this day why they didn't relase Tonight as a single. Same. I loved Suburban Knights but Tonight should have followed it.
