British female solo artists aren't well liked on here (Katy B, Cheryl Cole, Jessie J etc.) exceptions of course are Adele, plus all the artists I mentioned have some fans but many dislike them.

All female artists are loved on here - that is what Buzzjack is about - god knows why; but anyone who's got a fanny seems to be praised on here - or have several loud forum members looning over them

I loved the SLY/PT/BTW week (although i was gutted Gaga didn't get #1). They were my 3 fav artists at the time, although now i have to turn SLY off when it comes on as its been so overplayed, and same with PT i guess

Mr Saxobeat really isin't that good imo. It's good but not top 5 worth... saying that Aloe Blacc isin't worth top 10 either. I despise this top 10 and The Saturdays are decreasing more and more which i'm suprised about! Hope they promote next week...

I think it's likely we could see (Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Take That? Saturdays? ) All maybe on Britains Got Talent next week?

Known the people who pick the acts what will happen we will see The Wanted & Jls premier their new songs :L

Yeah, you're correct. That certainly seems to be the general rule.

However, Cheryl Cole is certainly NOT loved on here! She's one of those artists where everybody cheers when she misses the top 10. People hate her that much.

Katy B was very hated in the Katy On a Mission days. Jessie J seems quite liked now, but a lot of people were hating on her around that time when Price Tag got released, where she was all over the news and radio for weeks. I'm not sure how popular female artists were before I joined here, but from discussing previous years, I've noticed Kate Nash seems quite hated, of all people.

Female artists certainly seem more popular on here, but there are exceptions. I'm sure Chery Lloyd will get added to the list when/if she gets in the charts. :(

I'd be able to tolerate JLS and Jedward tbh. If you want to torture me you'd have to play Poker Face, Forget You and Grenade.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it. I think the weeks where the top 3 were Someone Like You/Price Tag/S&M probably comes close to the Airplanes/We No Speak Americano/Love the Way You Lie weeks in terms of the "hugeness" of the songs. Although I think it's a lot poorer musically. Someone Like You is basically the piano version of Love the Way You Lie but faster, B.o.B's raps on Airplanes are better and more meaningful than his rap on Price Tag, and We No Speak Americano is a club anthem, while S&M is an average dance-pop song

If you have purchased Bass Down Low your wish is my command.. It's by far the worst song of 2011. It's this years The Club Is Alive.

I can see Alexandra Stan definitely doing a Pitbull!

What a dirty gurl she is :kink:

Okay! :o Well actually, I got mixed up. My most hated songs are Live Your Life, Meet Me Halfway and The Way I Are, so play those to torture me instead. :kink:

Seriously though, I love Bass Down Low. It's much better than The Club is Alive (which I think is underrated. Love You More was worse).

Good, I like seeing acts climbing to #1 lately instead of debuting at #1 and crash the following week.

I'm almost 100% sure Alexandra Stan won't get to #1. Pitbull will probably be #1 for a month or so, and then a dance-pop song with rapping in that we've never heard of will come out of nowhere and get #1. That seems to be the trend this year.

Seriously though, Pibtull seems to be doubling Bruno's sales atm, and he's still increasing. :( It's a nice song, but I know I'll be fed up of it in a few weeks like I am with Price Tag, Someone Like You, Champion, Party Rock Anthem, S&M, Yeah 3x, etc. :(

To be honest, Sweat, Don't Hold Your Breath, Beautiful People and Just Can't Get Enough seem to be the only big hits of the year so far that I haven't got fed up of.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I very much doubt the Saturdays being on BGT. They're just not that big enough. Also, I can't see it being so female-heavy.

I would love Beyonce to be on there, and I bet Simon would too, but I doubt she'd appear.

I think Take That, Nicole, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Bruno Mars will perform during the week and Lady GaGa performing on the final.

People need to stop with generalising and stereotyping, some individuals will like some artists, some wont. Its not about 'loving female artist or male artists' its about liking THE artist regardless of male, female, place of birth etc! It's about the MUSIC.

Anyway iTunes:

California King Bed  #20 :D

Superbass still climbing well, #23 now.

Album version of BTW is now #27 with single version #43.

Black Eyed Peas have #39 JCGE and #40 DSTP.

Yeah 3x back up to #35!

I don't think Lady Gaga will appear on Britain's Got Talent..... I just have this feeling she... just won't go on :(

Are they just having one performance per night on BGT again? I'd love more, just for more chart movement.

Especially if there's one performance that has an impact on people and shoots to #1 (think Someone Like You by Adele, The Time and Meet Me Halfway by the Black Eyed Peas, etc.).

I think they only have one a night. Last year, they had Alicia, Usher, JLS(?), Miley and some other artist.

I'm hoping this year; Katy Perry (Last Friday Night), Rihanna (California King Bed), Beyonce (Run the World), Bruno Mars (The Lazy Song) and Chris Brown (Beautiful People) perform in the week and GaGa performs a mash-up of 'Judas' and 'The Edge of Glory' on the final.
