MW have not updated their sales flashes for today, unfortunately due to some award show tonight I can't see them coming any sooner, I did mentioned it a few posts back. Just sit tight until we get the info, that's if we do. Happened last year as well, and we didn't any charts for the day. We can't answer any requests for any artist at the moment.
May 24, 201114 yr I actually originally thought GaGa's album would clear 300k in its first week, but I downgraded that when Born This Way and Judas underperformed somewhat... 200k is what I was thinking the other day. So looks like it could meet that. I still don't think it's going to sell that well in the long run though - having listened to the album once, it seems to me the only song which even has a hope of being a huge hit is The Edge of Glory.

May 24, 201114 yr THE PRODIGY #3 :w00t: :cheer: :yahoo: :cheer: :w00t: They'll surely fall back to low top 10 at the very best by Sunday and will be very lucky to even top 20k sales but that's still far better than I expected especially given it's not top 10 on iTunes. I thought it'd start the week at about #28 then end up around 48. Would be fantastic if it stays top 5 so The Prodigy get mentioned on the chart show again :kink: (By the way, can I request 'Prodigy' be changed to 'The Prodigy' in the mids posts? <_<) Great sales for GaGa but in all honesty I was expecting a little bit more then that, I thought she'd pass 100k on day 1. Looking good to become the second album to open on over 200k and will probably surpass 21's opening week, it's more a question of whether it'll also surpass Adele's Mother's Day sales... 10 GaGa songs in the top 100 at this point :D I think Scheisse and BJ+AF are likely to drop out by Sunday though. May 24, 201114 yr I always thought it was kind of obvious Gaga would debut with this kind of numbers. People were being COMPLETELY delusional on the "prediction" thread, predicting 100-150k.

May 24, 201114 yr fantastic sales for Gaga, although those will include a lot of pre-orders, but I think 200k is possible now, certainly 150k at least :D ugh at S&M and JCGE climbing, but its a quiet week so that was expected <_< WTF at Hello's re-entry though

BEPs new track should surface in the 40 later in the week, as they are performing on SYTYCD (BBC1) on Saturday.
May 24, 201114 yr Lady Gaga 'Hair' Blue 'I Can' Both fallen from the top 20 to outside the top 40 = Ouch! Pleased at the top 10 actually, although I'd quite like 'Judas' to climb - the album should help with that. Just a shame to see [H] and [TEOG] take tumbles despite the additional sales. As for the albums, I didn't expect such big sales - although I imagine it'll have peaked already (what with everyone buying it on its first week). Adele only at 12,000 is pretty funny though - especially after the week-after-week great sales; would laugh if she fell to number 3 and get a taste of her own medicine.
