Might not because The Prodigy's sales can be quite overloaded at the start of the week and the sales between #5 and #6 might be quite a big gap.
Ya i have a feeling the fame will over take the prodigy by sunday,on saying that i never expected the prodigy to do so well with the live album so once it holds top 10 and it easily will i think i will be happy.

Yeah, as I said at the start of the thread I didn't expect it to even go top 40 so another top 10 entry for them would still be great. But I'd be less disappointed with a lower-half-of-top-ten finish if it had started the week a bit lower than #3.

But anyway, I can still hope they somehow have a big lead over GaGa and/or they get a boost at the weekend for some reason.

Ya im with out on the prodigy, but im more concerned how it perform next week, i know in general live album dont do well so it going top 10 is something in itself, i just hope it can manage a steady enough chart run.

I'm expecting a chart run of about 8-37-54-81-x :P

I can't see 'The Weekend Effect' doing much for the Prodigy's album at all - I really hope it manages to stick around in the top 5 and keep Gaga out, but I honestly see it falling to as low as #9 come Sunday; the likes of Bruno, Cee Lo Green, Rihanna and Jessie J will all no doubt gain plenty of sales tomorrow.

Does anyone know if Blondie has done anywhere near enough sales to get in the top 75? Their latest single 'Mother' rocks ... somehow however I doubt it'll do anything :(

Cheers

It's expected though as it's a live album which is normally frontloaded sales.

Yeah, there's not really a market for most live albums outside that act's core fanbase who will buy it on release week (and mostly on release day, leading to it being frontloaded within week 1). Obviously some live albums do cross over to a large market though. Thin Lizzy's Live And Dangerous for example. But most are doomed to one middling to decent sales week then plummet never to be heard of again. I'm more worried about how their next proper album will do, whenever it gets released (probably not before 2014 based on their track record :P)

It's nice though because they have a chance at top 5 and if not, top 10 at the album charts even though it's a live album so nevertheless very impressive :)

I'm hoping when The Prodigy make a comeback, that they release a great original tune (like they did with 'Omen') I don't wanna see them turn into Chase & Status/Nero/[insert drum&bass/dubstep artist here] because they can still get good chart hits like they did in 09' :)

Judging from iTunes, it'll do well to end in the top 350, let alone the T75.

If there was a physical release, that might help, as would have any publicity whatsoever...
