Are there any other new releases on iTunes or is this another quiet week?

 

Nothing thats going to be impacting on top 40 on iTunes Ben, well i dont think so anyway, only can see WAF and really want that top 10 at least. :)

lol well thats your opinion. I prefer What A Feeling personally. :) I just love it even though it hasnt got much to it, maybe thats why, the simpleness of a song sometimes works.

Which is exactly why 'Motivation' works so well!

I love both. I think I prefer Motivation. It's so sexual and intense. Strip club anthem tbh. I don't expect it to do well here though.

 

Other potential new or re-entries next week could be Beyonce (assuming she doesn't make it in this week), Black Eyed Peas (again, assuming it doesn't make it this week), Take That (:heart:), Olly Murs, Pink, maybe even Selena Gomez. And Eminem and Chipmunk might manage to re-enter too with the 59p effect.

Yeah definitely, but for me WAF has that edge, it may change, but for now WAF has the edge on it. :) Such a feel good song! :dance:

I thought Alex Gaudino would be doing a bit better so far. He'll still surely make top 10 though. What a Feeling has been promoted extremely well compared to I'm In Love, which managed top 10. I think I'm In Love was a bit better though.

Personally, I think both 'Motivation' and WAF are extremely underwhelming. They don't even compete with the likes of 'Stole', 'Can't Nobody', 'Work' and 'Commander'. I'm glad Kelly is finding a lot of success in America again, finally.

Commander was amazing. I still listen to it all the time. I actually have an extended version of its instrumental. It's so good. It spends like 2 and a half minutes crescendo-ing up to the chorus, which then goes on for most of the remainder of the song, and then gradually fades out to just the drums again at the end. It's almost like a dance version of One Day Like This. It's awesome! :D

34. What a Feeling (Radio Edit) - Alex Gaudino

This really isn't doing very well considering how much airplay it's got! It's basically a watered down version of WLTO (which isn't that great anyway IMO) minus the Clocks sample though.

Oh. Yeah, she will make it then! :lol: I think she fell out the top 40 last week, and I assumed her climb into the top 20 on iTunes was just a day or two ago, but I'm clearly mistaken.

None of those three songs were that bad imo. Pack Up, I'm baffled by how much it sold, but it's not completely dreadful. Acapella is a very strange comparison though! :o And I think Acapella was an absolutely brilliant song tbh. I'm glad people on here supported it so much. It's so classy too! :lol: And I think it's kinda cute. :D
