I would've said Club Can't Handle Me was much more generic than Missing You, personally.

I loved Missing You. The instrumental is AMAZING. And the lyrics and voice effects are amazing too. I can see why people would not like it though.

Missing You is absolutely brilliant, although I used to dislike it aswell when I heard it for the first time. It has grown on me so much now that I actually think it's one of their best singles to date.

Up is incredibly overrated though, I've never understood all the hype around it. It's great but easily their worst singles (besides Just Can't Get Enough, obviously).

:lol: this thread died immediately after everybody had ranked The Saturdays singles.

 

I would like to discuss why Rihanna and BEP can release any kind of crap or whatever and go top 10.

Here here that man! especially BEP :puke2:

At worst (most of the time) Black Eyed Peas make David Guetta sound godlike genious.

 

In general, I have nothing against Rihanna though..It's just funny that Britney Spears can't have a hit in the UK and Riri doesn't even have to snap her fingers and she's in top 10.

Well loads of artists have their day and the day will come when they will all struggle too. I think "Meet Me Halfway" is listenable but the rest is just slogans chanted over some beats, and they are mostly VERY irriting records in the main- I hate no group like I hate them!

 

I would like to single out "my Humps" for particular derision, pointless, repetitive, and a song about tits- jeez if i wasn't gay before........

that new BEP's song is such a mess, seriously...what has happened to them? :( following a great era in 2009, they seem to now just release any old rubbish and the public still lap it up :no:

Meet Me Halfway is actually very good, not the verses, but the song overall.. I can handle Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling too and some older tracks but dear God they're awful now.

 

And their latest album hasn't even gone platinum yet!

I agree though, Meet Me Halfway is their best song.

Nothing by The Saturdays comes even close to anything released by the Happy Mondays.
