Although is it not the case that this song will probably sell less than 100k this week?
May 31, 201114 yr Author No chance, it has sold 22k already in Monday. Even after the earthquake, people still spend a fortune buying CD singles :P

June 2, 201114 yr WTF  Apart from needing to see a head doctor, that's borderline chart rigging.
June 2, 201114 yr      Even if you are the biggest fan of someone in the world - you would have to lose your mind and/or be on drugs to be stupid enough to buy 5,000+ copies of a single. What is the point?? It's a waste of money that could have gone to the earthquake (which happens to be in Japan, where that guy lives)
June 2, 201114 yr Author Yes that's crazy :o But nevertheless, most people don't buy 5,500 of a single anyways so 1.3 million first week is still really impressive 5,500 of them singles costed him at least £44,000 and it probably exceeded £60,000 since the CD+DVD editions are really expensive (1.7x more than the CD Only) As for me, I bought 4 copies of the single (since there were 4 different editions) so.... I can't really say :P
June 2, 201114 yr Why is anyone surprised? Japan is known for having people who are completely insane.
June 2, 201114 yr Wasn't there some guy (in the UK) who bought like loads and loads of copies of Christina Aguilera's album last year? He probably would've been better off buying it in the 2nd week though, to help it's chart run a little bit.
June 2, 201114 yr Author Why is anyone surprised? Japan is known for having people who are completely insane. It's not called insane but rather the fact the record labels there know there are fans who buy every edition there is of a single/album (THAT'S ME!) and hence release many editions in order to boost sales. Heck, one of the AKB48 sub-units, French Kiss, had their single released in 7 different editions  But.... buying 5,500 is just abnormal unless you literally are really rich and got nothing to spend it on..
