Thank you muchly Tyrren, more than I had expected! :o

4th seems scarily high though this early, I was hoping I was going to be the late surge but it looks as though that's not to be! :D

Oh, I'd also like a say a big thanks to Tyron for his 12 to Batidas. ^_^

Speaking of Batidas, it's our turn to unveil our votes. :o

Good evening Batidas. This is Chryss Topfér calling with the Batidian televote. It was extremely difficult to narrow it down to just 10 nations but 10 nations we miraculously narrowed it down to, and so without further ado here are the Batidian votes:

The entire population of Kopečka is unbothered by your thanks, but will place them on the mantlepiece nonetheless.

And there was I thinking that was an OLIVE BRANCH. Have it your way then.

When did BJSC get so INDIETASTIC? (not that i'm complaining, at least half the top four is tremendous)

It was Indietastic a while back for a good 10 contests!

It's been rather Pop orientated until this month and last.

Curse of 11th strikes back :( Blame yourselves for getting rid of the 18 points system.

Ahhhh yes. I know it well.

I don't understand quite where you get this diagnosis from Phil. You not qualifying for a few contests with fairly mediocre pop tracks doesn't mean the contest went indie for 10 contests! The only AT ALL mildly alternative contest was the one Delphic won, and even that was fairly poppy for an 'alternative' track, and perhaps the one Roll Deep won where Lo-Fi-Fnk, Robyn, Sia and The Golden Filter came top five, but that aside...

Hits! :o

Thank you! I was not expecting a maximum from you, I'm really chuffed!

'Watch The Sun Go By' is excellent whether it's the [Fljótavík Edit] or the album version, it's just quite simply brilliant. :D

After half a year of doing well, it feels odd to be doing so $h!t.

You're MID-TABLE!

I think there were basically 4 indie contests, XXII to XXV. BUt that was pretty much it.

You're MID-TABLE!

See this is how it feels

Thanks Batidas

Its still very tight at the top anyone can still win it.

Ten would be extensive use of Hyperbole to describe the period of 22-26 where there were a higher number than average indie tracks. Two of those I got drawn into the indie semi and crashed out of at the expense of some ridiculous garbage. So yes, the contest did have an indie period before common sense reigned and we had three Scandipop winners on the bounce.

Thanks, New Caprica! ^_^

5TH? This is when Espen pull their signature fall-to-the-bottom trick! :heehee:

You're MID-TABLE!

Well now, kinda, but after 6 top11 finishes it's a bit odd to be back in my XII-XXVII hunting ground given the massive leap in entry quality.

I think there were basically 4 indie contests, XXII to XXV. BUt that was pretty much it.

I see the argument that XXV was a fairly alternative contest, and maybe XXII and XXIV at a stretch - but let's not forget - along with those fairly alternative appearances from The Good Natured and Olafur Arnalds in XXII's top ten, you also had Glee, Caroline Jonsson, Keri Hilson, Linda Bengtzing, Elin Lanto...in XXIV you had Leighton Meester, Danny, Suzie McNeil and Tania Foster to go along with Delphic and Beach House. Nowhere near as 'indie' as portrayed - and XXIII really wasn't all that alternative at all.
