It's done well to remain Top 10, or even get Top 10 when it hasn't had any promotion yet! I hope it shoots up into the Top 5 after her Voice performance! :D

Meh. I can't say I'm overly bothered by what happens to this, just because there's basically nothing riding on it. It did better than expected out the gate which is good enough for me.

 

I do think it's one of her best singles in the last decade or so... probably up there with In My Arms at the very least, certainly better than most of the X and Aphrodite singles.

 

She's got an appearance on Alan Carr on Friday, maybe that would give it a boost back into the Top 20. As long as it's Top 20 come Sunday! :D

#22 in the offical midweeks, so hopefully the jubilee and alan carr can scrape it into the top 20. I do like time bomb but i wouldnt rate it with her best, and would rate wow, in my arms, and all the lovers above it.

I'd say it's as great as In My Arms for me, and better than 2 Hearts, Wow, Get Outta My Way or Better Than Today.

 

She's not performing on Alan Carr though and she might not sing this at the Jubilee event so I doubt it will get a chart spike. Also Aled from Radio 1 told someone on SayHey that Kylie is considered too old/has too much gay appeal to be playlisted on Radio 1. Pfft.

But they still had her on the show to do inteviews and live lounge performances when All the Lovers was out (and I'm sure they playlisted that). As for "too much gay appeal to be playlisted", for Christ's sake could they be any more homophobic? "Kylie has gay fans so, oh no! They couldn't possibly have gay people listen to the radio! It's not like they are human or anything!" It's the 21st century, why the f*** do they think that is a suitable reason? And anyway, if Aled is the same Aled who does "The Surgery" on Sunday nights, he is gay, so that just makes it a whole lot more crazier! :angry:

Well it's not his personal opinion, he's just surmising what they said in the playlist meeting, but of course it's mad. Aled asked on his Twitter whether people liked Kylie's music and the response was 3:1 in favour of her. But Radio 1 are sadly obsessed with catching a youth demographic and they think most of Kylie's fans are 30+.
