December 2, 20159 yr 5 appearances  my highlights of that section are My Window, Bad and of course High On You which got snatchT by Rob so I instead ended up sending Spotlight!!

Below Audien are two unjust DNQs, the iconic Beaverdonia debut, 'Η Καμήλα' as well as the iconic Triangledonia debut 'Squirrel' which introduced the world to LarsM. The rest of Terra Avium's entries drop out in this section too although they did do well to get 4 top 100 entries. 'Ferrari' and 'Crypt', both great instrumentals, are placed next to each other - and the Nina Simone sampling 'Birds Flying High' just misses the top 60. The mighty Ethanola make the first of their six appearances with 'bEbay', which I'm not sure what genre it is but it's quite catchy. Unfortunately it DNQed as did trance classic 'Universal Nation' which is a place lower, and 'Wild Eyes' another few places lower. Another Botanikka trance jam is a little bit higher, at #70 for 'Trance and Acid'. And at #67 there is a Yehesi entry, the second of four, remixed by BuzzJack's very own 99 Souls *.*

December 5, 20159 yr Author thanks for the comments so far, let's get this moving again: Top 100 Foreign Entries * * * #41-60 41 Nhyx ~ Machines [ Vülkyria 80 ] 15 42 Jay Hardway ~ Electric Elephants [ Ethanola 80 ] N/A 43 LarsM ~ Shivers [ Triangledonia 80 ] N/A 44 Lucas & Steve ~ Fearless [ Republic of Adonia 76 ] N/A 45 GFOTY ~ Friday Night [ Hendinia 77 ] 13 46 TIEKS ~ Cake [ Aeroche 80 ] 13 47 July Child ~ Turn Me On (Kevin Lyttle Cover) [ #00274E 73 ] 8 48 Ponibbi ~ Heartskip [ Aeroche 77 ] 8 49 Jax Jones ~ Yeah Yeah Yeah [ Vülkyria 75 ] 8 50 Paul Kalkbrenner ~ Feed Your Head [ Land of DW 78 ] 12 51 Sonny Alven (feat. Emmi) ~ Our Youth [ Tinnmark 80 ] 11 52 Kyfra ~ Lift Me Up [ Vülkyria 77 ] N/A 53 Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman ~ ID2 [ Land of DW 72 ] N/A 54 machineheart ~ snøw (Myles Travitz Remix) [ #00274E 74 ] 10 55 Shaan & Lauren Evans ~ Light Up The World [ Jamvale 72 ] N/A 56 Audrey Napoleon ~ Dope A La Mode [ Persephonia 76 ] 11 57 Alex Metric & Jacques Lu Cont (feat. Malin) ~ Safe With You [ Aquafina 77 ] 11 58 Listenbee ~ Save Me [ Ramrynia 71 ] 10 59 Halsey ~ Ghost (Lost Kings Remix) [ Triangledonia 75 ] 12 60 Serani ~ No Games (Hedonism Remix) [ Ethanola 76 ] 12 Ethanola and Triangledonia, undeniably two of my favourite countries, both make double appearances in this here section. The chart starts with Ethanola's 'No Games', remixed to sound similar to 'Cheerleader' and whilst it's nowhere near that good it's certainly a banger. At #59 for /\donia, singer Halsey may have loads of bloghype for her indie-pop but it was this tropical house remix that really caught my attention, and unsurprisingly I'm more of a Lost Kings fan than I am a Halsey. One of my faves from early in the year, Ramrynia's smash 'Save Me' unfortunately misses the top 50 as the song grew off me a little and many later songs have been even better from the start. At #57, one of Aquafina's two winning entries which somehow passed us by when it was originally released 2 years ago so thanks for the (re)discovery. The #Wallbra impact is real as Persephonia is one place ahead with electro house banger 'Dope A La Mode'. When they send dance they usually do it really well and this is no exception. At #55, the generic yet brilliant 'Light Up The World' by then-Jamvale. Unfortunately many of their other generic dance entries this year haven't been up to near this standard (Dash Berlin/Project 46). The country have another entry in the top 40. #00274E have had a very impactful year, not DNQing once although skipping a few contests. They have another entry much higher up but until then at #54 is the lovely remix of machineheart 'snøw' and at #47 is the lovely cover version of 'Turn Me On'. Land Of DW are a country that have gone from flopping all the time to actually getting hits now and then. Sadly 'ID2', at #53, is one of their flops but it should hopefully do well in Rejects as it has quite a bit of support. They have another entry at #50 with Jefferson Airplane sampling 'Feed Your Head', a sample that's now in the new Pep & Rash song (impakt). Vülkyria have 3 entries appearing in the section. Firstly their unjust DNQ 'Lift Me Up' at #52, I'm not sure how it flopped so hard when it's such an uplifting (:basil:) tune. Also they appear with 'Yeah Yeah Yeah' by UK #1 hitmaker Jax Jones at #49, which would later get used in an apple advert (impakt) and just missing the top 40 at #41, the French language sampling Nhyx's 'Machines'. One place above the first of their entries is Sonny Alven's 'Our Youth', which has continued to grow post-contest but just misses the top 50. Aeroche appear twice, with 'Heartskip' at #48 and 'Cake' at #46, with #00274E sandwiched between with the aforementioned 'Turn Me On'. 'Heartskip' came 2nd behind the aforementioned 'Safe With You', and it was proof that nearly any song can be improved with a remix. Not that I was familiar with the original before this came about but I listened to a bit of it afterwards and it was awful. 'Cake' is an iconic entry to say the least, I'm glad Aeroche finally entered it after it being a potential for a year cos it's v good. Hendinia usually send songs too far on the pop side for my taste but at least this year they gave us a song I could get behind, with GFOTY's 'Friday Night' at #45, a song I thought Aeroche would go for but it wasn't to be, as they sent 'Heartskip' instead. Lucas & Steve undeservedly came nearly last in the final when they represented Danaelanda last year, remixing Ruffneck's 'Everybody Be Somebody'. They then got entered for the 2nd time this year, this time by Republic of Adonia with 'Fearless', which sadly didn't even qualify. It is at #44. LarsM's 2nd of 2 entries in this chart is a place higher, once again representing Triangledonia, and it seems even he agrees that 'Shivers' is better than former entry 'Squirrel'. Ethanola are a place above with Jay Hardway. Sadly both songs mentioned in this paragraph couldn't qualify but we hope they do well in Rejects. Just missing the top 40 of course is the aforementioned 'Machines'. ~ The big TOP 40 is next, featuring the following countries: #00274EAeroche x3AjanaedaAltyr Muunilinst x3Aquafina x2Cor LupusCumulonimbiaD'yermak'erDaehunEspen x2Ethanola x3FlynnondaJadakissniaJamvale (now known as Mulgracia)JayrusalemKathaldaziaLlewandiaN DNTNPersephonia x2RamryniaRepublic of AdoniaSingerpurearSkallTartfordTriangledonia x2TrifoskiUsflandVülkyriaYehesi x2
December 5, 20159 yr Shivers almost too 40 :o I hope Tropic Love is top 10 and perhaps Spirals can be top 30
December 5, 20159 yr Thought Audrey would have been one of the higher ones for us (though looking pack at the points I received, I forgot you gave A-WA so many so that explains that one). Yay for having 2 in the top 40 anyhoo *.* (and YAS for 'Cake' also x)
December 8, 20159 yr Author Top 100 Foreign Entries * * * #31-40 31 Kölsch (feat. Gregor Schwellenbach) ~ Cassiopeia [ Skall 73 ] N/A 32 TheFatRat ~ Windfall [ Yehesi 72 ] 10 33 XYConstant ~ Silverlined [ Flynnonda 78 ] 10 34 Vicetone (feat. Kat Nastel) ~ No Way Out [ Llewandia 71 ] 7 35 Joyryde ~ Give My Love [ Vülkyria 79 ] 13 36 Fred V & Grafix ~ Major Happy [ Trifoski 73 ] 4 37 Lauren Ashleigh ~ Touch Me [ Ajanaeda 72 ] N/A 38 Spada & Elen Levon ~ Cool Enough [ Ramrynia 74 ] 13 39 Sound Remedy & Illenium (feat. King Deco) ~ Spirals [ Triangledonia 76 ] N/A 40 AK & Lynx (feat. Veela) ~ Virtual Paradise [ Jadakissnia 78 ] 13 Starting off the top 40 is Jadakissnia. A country who didn't have the best of starts with us, entering the completely forgettable Last Lynx song whose song title I've even forgotten. Oop. But then they entered Onuka's 'Time' which we liked and then 'Virtual Paradise' which took a few listens to get going but eventually we loved it and thankfully it was to become the contest's Token Drum n' Bass Hit. We then go to two really undeserved DNQs, 'Spirals' at #39 was one of Triangledonia's best entries ever despite being dubstep, a genre that I don't usually find too interesting in 2015. Hopefully it will make up for its floppage in TBO Rejects where it has already qualified to the semi-finals. 'Touch Me' representing Ajanaeda wasn't so lucky though and DNQed twice despite being a really good housey tune. Inbetween them is Spada(m) with the nice deep house sounds of 'Cool Enough' which was a fairly sizeable hit for Ramrynia earlier this year. Trifoski make it as high as #36 with 'Major Happy', which suffered a bit at the time from it having already been a big song for me over a year back but it did at least get a few points and remains a banger. Unfortunately it didn't quite become the top 10 people predicted but it did quite well. Vülkyria have their final song next, the surprise smash 'Give My Love' which we championed from the beginning and eventually gave 13 points. Llewandia (please come back!!) have their only entry at #34 with Vicetone 'No Way Out', quite generic progressive house really but it's done well and I love it. Flynnonda have their highest hit next with XYconstant, 'Silverlined' didn't do as well as his other entry in the contest ('Do It Well', #71 in my chart) but I much prefer it really. Very glad this got entered because I was loving it for weeks before it did but not enough to send it myself. Yehesi lose another entry but they're still in the running. 'Windfall' was a very unique entry for them and so was deserving of our 10 points (would now be 15 points in the expanded finals). We're also loving TheFatRat's new tune 'Monody', even more than 'Windfall' really but it remains a tune. 'Cassiopeia' was a song I had known for ages before it was sent, and I was excited to see it in the contest. Not so excited to see it undeservedly DNQ though (how could you BuzzJack?? I blame lengthism [it is eight and a half minutes but each second is amazing]). Justice for ha in Rejects please.
December 8, 20159 yr That Last Lynx Shade </3 r00d. ('Curtains' btw xo) Glad to see 'Virtual Paradise' sticking with you though! A top 40 showing here is excellent.
December 9, 20159 yr All my songs in the 30-60 section! Will have to punch higher next year for a Top 10 EOY position in Danaelanda!
December 9, 20159 yr Flynnonda top 40  Kolsch is amazing  Edited December 9, 20159 yr by MerryFlynnmas
December 9, 20159 yr Author Top 100 Foreign Entries * * * #30-21 21 Hannah Diamond ~ Every Night [ N DNTN 78 ] 11 22 Lema (feat. Christina Novelli) ~ Magnetic Nights (Shog 2Faces Radio Edit) [ Jamvale 73 ] N/A 23 Hayden James ~ Something About You [ Altyr Muunilinst 73 ] N/A 24 Ferreck Dawn ~ Heaven Sent [ Ethanola 77 ] 18 25 Venemy & BH ~ Stay Strong [ Tartford 74 ] N/A 26 Dance With The Dead ~ Waves [ Persephonia 79 ] 15 27 Flume & Chet Faker ~ Drop The Game [ Usfland 71 ] 6 28 Luca C & Brigante (feat. Roisin Murphy) ~ Invisions [ Ethanola 72 ] N/A 29 The Internet (feat. Kaytranda) ~ Girl [ Espen 76 ] 13 30 A-WA ~ Habib Galbi [ Persephonia 74 ] 15 Persephonia drop out in this section but two top 30 hits is definitely not too shabby. The first of them is the winning 'Habib Galbi', which is a fun foreign language jamm we defo got on board with. It starts the section. A few places upwards at #26 is more recent entry 'Waves' which sees them go dance again and we loved it. A very strong instrumental here and I'm glad it did so well. A few floppy entries are in here. Firstly Espen at #29 whose 'Girl' got really underrated by most but I really got behind its sick electronic-RnB-chill vibez. Espen still have an entry to come in the top 20. At #27 is the only entry for Usfland, who entered the great 'Drop the Game' which I was a fan of a few months before it was entered, its relative oldness was a factor in the low number of points it got from me. Ethanola have 2 entries in the section. The poor flop 'Invisions' which totally didn't deserve to do half as badly as it did makes it to #28 here. I don't get how. It's such a good housey tune. And it's got Roisin Murphy who is semi-popular. A few places higher is 'Heaven Sent', the first song that got maximum points from me in the final to drop out but it's done great to get this high really. It's not the highest song from its contest however, a certain other song has grown further since and will be appearing in the top 20. Tartford racism was high early in the year which mean the brilliant dubstep entry 'Stay Strong' didn't qualify. It remains an amazing listen though, and starts the final quarter of the top 100. Two more DNQs to come, at #23 Altyr Muunilinst who CAME LAST LMAOOOOO with this serious tune 'Something About You', which admittedly mostly grew on me post-contest, but I wasn't in its semi anyway. Christina Novelli unjustly became a DNQ twice this year. Her first DNQ appears at #22. It is also the highest appearance for Jamvale/Mulgracia. One place above is Hannah Diamond 'Every Night' which was well old for me when it was entered but didn't stop me from giving it good marks in this case as it really re-grew on me in-and-post-contest. ~ Top 20 Country Apperances: #00274E Aeroche x3 Altyr Muunilinst x2 Aquafina x2 Cor Lupus Cumulonimbia D'yermak'er Daehun Espen Ethanola Jayrusalem Kathaldazia Republic of Adonia Singerpurear Triangledonia Yehesi Predictions welcome.
December 9, 20159 yr Magnetic Nights and Heave Sent  KSHMR/Hands/Easy Love will probably be high.
December 9, 20159 yr Very pleased to have 4 of my entries here, even if none of them were top 60. I went through a bit of a dance-y phase at the beginning of the year so glad you approve! :music: Great to see Heaven Sent here, was my 18 from that contest and still sounding great. I've not been as enthusiastic about Danaelanda in 2015 as I have been in previous years unforch :'( But you can still send a great dance tune every so often so hopeful for more in 2016!
December 9, 20159 yr wow at 3 in the top 20 <3 seems we have a COMPLETE mutual appreciation this year
December 9, 20159 yr Wewp for DWTD and A-WA x As if an Ethanola song is your lowest ranked 12/18!!1 (And that was their best entry this year as well, while Luca C & Brigante was their worst, one of the most bland dance entries this year :'().
