I think I might download this. I wasn't a huge fan of all their other stuff but their new song is a tune.

it will effect sales but i think the single is still gonna do very well,its a great omeback and im sure the 2nd album will be brilliant like the first one and sell very well

YA IT HAS AFFECTED her sales thats for sure,she could still be number 1 but with a fight and shakira could well beat her yet

Currently it is at #20.

Does anybody else think the reason why acts like The Scissor Sisters or Xtina are releasong their tracks early is to stop illegal downloads. It would make sense as in the end more sales will probably be gained and the artists will probably come off with a respectable chart position.

I hope soon they release the physical single as soon as it's on the radio as well as the download then that'd stop it and it'll be in the chart ^_^ and make them even more interesting.

I do think bands are going to do what Kasabian did more often though myself.

i hope so as i really think it gives the single a better chance of charting higher
