I very much doubt this is true. Last year it was said that lots of contestants had sung Cheryl Cole's "Fight for This Love" at the auditions, although I only recall seeing one or two acts perform it on the auditions highlight shows.

I seen in the paper the other day, some girl blow them away in scotland singing 'someone like you' so doubt it haha

So technically they can still sing 'Make You Feel My Love' given that it's not an Adele song at all?

 

I'm reading between the lines here. X Factor are banning "Adele covers" ie; songs covered by Adele. :D As 'Someone Like You' isn't a cover version then they can still use this song. Basically, it would've been easier if the article said "XF judges to ban Make You Feel My Love". :lol:

I think Pixie songs will be overused this year actually! Cry Me Out, Broken Arrow & Can't Make This Over.

Someone sang Use Somebody (Pixie's version of it) last year, and it almost made top 40 officially.

 

As a viewer of the X Factor, I would like to see some songs banned, just because I'm absolutely fed up of hearing the same things again, and again.

 

I really like Cher from last year. She was performing songs like Hard Knock Life, Shout, Mockingbird, Turn My Swag on, Just Be Good to Green, etc. She was extremely refreshing imo.

I doubt this is true as some of the Adele songs sung last year were amoungst the most memorable performances.Actually they should stop plugging songs from Syco artists.

I would sing Impossible by Shontelle or Who Am I by Will Young.

I think Grenade, Fast Car, Price Tag and maybe Skinny Love will be sang a lot. Oh, and for my audition I'd sing Unfaithful by Rihanna (I already have on YT :kink:) or I Need A Dollar by Aloe Blacc (it suits my voice).

My take....its about time. After the Pentagon study there is no reason to keep it....though I dont think there really has been one prior to that apart from the same fear that had separate black and white divisions.
