Posted July 29, 200618 yr So did Did the Guardian Guide portray everyone on here who's a psephologist with a chart obsession a sad f***s today in the Johnny Sharp article or was it a positive article. I havent read it yet. wondering what was your opinion of the piece.
July 29, 200618 yr Well, and all those people watching finacial figures the remote possibility that someone will sneeze and giev a .025% rise in interest rates. The exchange rate and hundreds of other figures. What are they? And do they get to enjoy music. Well, I'm quite happy :D
July 30, 200618 yr Well, if it's sad to be a chart obsessive, then I'm a depressive and Johnny Sharp can f**k off :D
July 30, 200618 yr Found this link to the aforementioned Guardian article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/theguide/music/s...1831551,00.html
July 30, 200618 yr Hmm. Not really criticising us - it's more like a focus on what we do. There doesn't actually seem to be all that much criticism on there. EDIT: And that guy talking about the Rolling Stones is wrong, according to Polyhex. Nineteenth Nervous Breakdown jumped from 14-2 on the chart dated 19/02/1996 and stayed there for 3 weeks. July 30, 200618 yr I thought it was quite a good piece. No wonder I never got on with Eliot (Triangle_E) - 2 Unlimited - No Limits is probably in my "most hated" Top10 of all-time.
July 30, 200618 yr theres nothing wrong with it, its a good mental workout to remember fact and figures, analyze and predict charts are an important part of the music business and there is nothing wrong with focusing on them Edited July 30, 200618 yr by perfecto
