Ooh, nice to hear that Sunrise has made an impact on the Allecci chart! 6 or 7 charts I've seen it in now :o

Well, of course it would, it's excellent :D

Another potential entry, and as always all opinions are welcomed and encouraged

Smith & Thell - Drive

I know of Smith and Thell and I am currently enjoying "Man of your kind" by them. Check it out if you haven't already. I'm actually contemplating sending it to the next contest, as it's rather good!

Edited by Freeze

Smith & Thell! I was considering that for my own next entry. Drive is brilliant.

Seems like I could have a struggle sending that now, though. The same artist can't be in the same contest twice, right?

They can technically but only if they were entered by a different country and didn't come top 3 in the last contest. So it is possible :)

Hot off the Press!

16:49 This month's entry will see Allecian return to the success of 'Disco Moment' in 36 by entering Male Electro-pop

17:02 If you are easily offended by explicitly sexual lyrics and graphic imagery then you won't like this song at all ;)

We would like to thank all the countries that voted for Allecian to have their fourth hit of the contest. We also are presenting 3 songs currently in the running for the title of BJSC 39 Allecci Representative.

The theme of these potential entries is 'Country/Folk/Singer-Songwriter'

Sugarland - One Blue Sky

Cara Dillon - The Parting Glass

Missy Higgins - Wharm Whispers

Edited by LexC

Missy Higgins is one of my all time favourite singers  Not with that particular song though and the Cara Dillon song is by far my favourite of the three.

Thanks for commenting, the last 2 were discoveries via the iTunes 'Recommended for You' Feature. :)

I'm aware that's probably only the tip of the iceberg with Missy. Of what I've heard so far she's excellent.

She is. My absolute favourites of hers are Scar, Steer, Peachy, Ten Days and The Special Two if you get a chance to listen to those.

The Sugarland song is not near the standard of their other notable tracks such as Stuck Like Glue..

As gooddelta stated as well, I would send Cara Dillion as it's the best out of the 3 tracks.

This list isn't exhaustive because knowing me, I'll end up going in a completley different direction

The Cara Dillion track is really good though.... well for me it is anyways :P

Well, in true Allecci style, I've changed my mind and decided to go in a different direction. Do not distress, Cara has been earmarked for future contests. :)

This is what I'm really loving at the moment

Ronika - In The City

Bit of an 80s retro vibe here :)

Blackroom - Control

I did offer this track to Dandy* but he decided to go with something else

As always, feedback is welcomed and encouraged.

Ah, Blackroom again! I did quite like that track actually, it would probably receive points from me in a normal contest as it's got a decent 80s vibe to it. :D

Allecian's entry for BJSC IXL is swedish duo Ask Embla with the stunning Ein

As always Allecian has a policy of encouraging people to comment on our entries :)

Very different from your previous entries, although I think one of the songwriters is norwegian iirc

I prefer Fathers eyes by them, but I've only listened to this song once, so it might grow on me.
