September 1, 201113 yr I forget how much I love All Fired Up untill I hear it... Then I am in love with it all over again!
September 1, 201113 yr I agree Martyn I love it, I do hope it goes to number one... part of me thinks All About tonight deserves number one more though, Pixie's worked harder regarding promotion (despite not doing any television yet) she's did many events and gone on a 1 week radio tour... I think that has helped it's airplay go up. She's also Retweeting all fans saying Buy All About Tonight what seems to be working as 2hours ago AAT was 76 on the albums chart and is now 56. I would love either song to be number one as Sats really do deserve a number one asap. 73. Leona Lewis - Collide, this is climbing fast aswell now Edited September 1, 201113 yr by lee wallace
September 1, 201113 yr Author I'm sorry but one minute you're like "The Sats have never had a #1, they deserve it more, they work sooo hard and do promotion all the time" etc etc and now you're like "Pixie Lott deserves it" !
September 1, 201113 yr I don't think Pixie deserves it. For a start, All About Tonight - while pretty good - is far more generic than All Fired Up. The Sats have more of a trance/club vibe with their single and they're taking a big risk from what they usually do, wheras Pixie's song is basically like a mash-up of Boys and Girls and her album track Doing Fine. Also, Pixie's video is pretty standard and nothing special whereas The Sats at least went for something a bit different with theirs. Pixie also released her song to radio months ago, and has been lucky enough to bag a promotional spot on a prime time Saturday night ITV show before her song is released. The Sats are doing a radio tour as well (they're all splitting up to do it) and The Sats have done events as well. The Sats usually promote their material on Twitter as well. I think people underestimate how hard The Sats work. Sure, they have some lazy performances but they're practically always gigging, recording or writing and they worked extremely hard for their Missing You campaign (probably more than Pixie ever worked for any of her single releases). (I love Pixie, by the way, I bought her first album and hope she does well with her second era but I have to be honest, if #1's were awarded for how much effort an act puts in, The Sats would have multiple #1's by now)

Their promotion with Afu has been quite lazy though unlike Pixie Lott's promotion of All About Tonight, I don't care what song goes to number one though as like as it's each.
September 1, 201113 yr It really annoys me when peope say they don't work hard either. You lot have no idea :/ When they go on holiday they get moaned at for not spending time working, they work very hard all year round, early starts and late finishes! Before anyone says it, yes they have chosen this career, but they're still human. If management tells them they can book a holiday at a certain time then they're going to jump at the chance as they don't know when the next on will be. Yes they should want to work hard, but at the end of the day it's a job to them and they will not want to be doing it everyday, they still have family and partners they want to spend time with. Artists work a lot harder than most people realise, just because your not seeing them on tv doesn't mean they're not doing lots of stuff behind the scene, they have an arena tour coming up, it takes a lot of rehearsing it doesn't just happen. Also, when you say they're not doing enough promo, do you think they organise the promo themselves? Pick and choose what programs and what radio they do. Yes they're not doing enough, but I'm pissed off with their people who organise it, not The Sats themselves.
September 1, 201113 yr I am not saying they don't work hard! The people who book their promo are awful I do agree.
September 2, 201113 yr Author I am not saying they don't work hard! The people who book their promo are awful I do agree. Their team can only pick what's left though. It's not like they see "ahh there's a slot on Red or Black we'll book it!" because normally on these 'big' shows artists are invited, it's not necesarily first come first serve. With Missing You they were lucky. A week or two after and the shows they performed on (Alan Titchmarsh, Alan Carr etc) finish their series come the end of Summer. The start of this quater and the end of the Summer is always a difficult time for TV promo as there isn't much available. Shows have just ended, and new ones are starting or coming back for a new series.
September 2, 201113 yr is this on itunes in ireland? I just went and had a look, they weren't in the top 200 so I searched 'the saturdays all fired up' and nothing came up, so for some reason it hasn't been released  Pixie and Leona are both on Irish iTunes though.
September 2, 201113 yr Only The Saturdays - All Fired Up remixes are available to purchase, Didn't even know the remixes were getting released. None of the songs are top 1000 in singles, I think Itunes has frozen, Leona or Pixie aren't even in album charts. Edited September 2, 201113 yr by lee wallace
September 2, 201113 yr I think it's definitely frozen neither Collide, All Fired Up or All About Tonight are showing up - neither is Caught In The Dark.
September 2, 201113 yr Author I've just thought, is the actual All Fired Up: Remix EP even available for pre-order on iTunes (in the UK) yet?
September 2, 201113 yr All Fired Up was removed from iTunes, meaning Saturdays lost there chance of an early position. LadyKiller is not available any more to download because the ep got removed. I hope this doesn't happen in the Uk as The Saturdays will fall behind Pixie. The only things are available to download in Ireland are the remixes and the extended mix! iTunes have messed up, can't get over how unlucky The Saturdays are. 26. Collide (Radio Edit) - Avicii & Leona Lewis 42. All About Tonight - Pixie Lott 44. All Fired Up (Extended Mix) - The Saturdays Uk Tv Airplay 20. The Saturdays - All Fired Up 25. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 36. Leona Lewis - Collide Radio Airplay 15. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 39. The Saturdays - All Fired Up 69. Leona Lewis - Collide Edited September 2, 201113 yr by lee wallace
September 2, 201113 yr 14. Leona Lewis - Collide. 36. The Saturdays - All Fired Up & 121 (Notorious has also re-entered the top 200 #149) 39. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight Had Saturdays Ep not been deleted I think it would have been around #15 as alot of dedicated Sats fans would have pre-ordered the EP. I pray this dosen't happen in The United Kingdom as the extended mix really isin't that good, had the radio version been released I think it would be top 10 (because of pre-orders aswell) Edited September 2, 201113 yr by lee wallace
September 2, 201113 yr i think people are going to be surprised with this single, i have a feeling it will have quite a bit of longevity!
September 2, 201113 yr I am honestly thinking about e-mailing Uk iTunes to make sure they don't make the same error. I think All Fired Up will do good in the uk depending on if the Ep is not deleted and it starts of at a better and earlier pace. Sats fans will all download the remixes aswell, although I wish they made it pre-order as it would do better in the album charts.
September 2, 201113 yr Author So let me get this right.. Irish iTunes have 'deleted' the Single EP (including the Radio Edit, Ladykiller etc) yet added in the Remix EP.. which isn't available to Pre-Order in the UK?! It dosen't make sence. It's also strange how All Fired Up is still missing from Amazon in the UK after they 'accidently' released it early. Anyhoo, it's funny how their 'main' competition (Pixie Lott - in the UK at least) is below them, and being beaten by a 'remix' of the track, ha! Strange times.
