June 23, 201114 yr They Should end up around #18 this week! Not sure why There physicals haven't got them #18 already though? Must be poor physical sales! My local Hmv have stopped physicals aswell !
June 23, 201114 yr They'll sell most of the physicals on Saturday as the weekend is always the highest for sales. Also, was watching KFC Krushems chat show thing on 4Music and they reviewed Junes releases, and among them was JLo (Im Into You), Saturdays (Notorious), Nicole Scherzinger (Right There) and Parade (Perfume). The first 3 releases were released before June - I guess people are only starting to recognise them now or something? JLo and The Sats came out on top by the way ;)
June 23, 201114 yr I haven't heard it much on the radio this week tbh! Only time i've heard them on Radio 1 was the live lounge! Anyway they're down to #21 :( Adele has gained massive or The Sats have just decreased! Such a dissapointing place to stall... imagine where they would be had it been 99p i'm guessing around #33-35
June 23, 201114 yr Don't like it. :( It doesn't really work without the vocal effects, does it? :( And the crowd seemed dead.
June 23, 201114 yr 19. Dev - Bass Down Low 18.9% 20. Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 18.9% 21. The Saturdays - Notorious 17.9% Next week I 100% believe they will be top 15 maybe higher as No big releases next week!
June 23, 201114 yr Author Yeah I agree Lee, Vocal Rank! 2008 Vanessa Rochelle Una Mollie/Franke -- could never decide who is vocally the weakest, they both have had their hit and miss moments, although Frankie get's the most solos. 2011 Rochelle Una Vanessa Mollie Frankie - although her voice has improved I still think she's really weak on the 'Notorious' middle 8!
June 23, 201114 yr Author The acoustic 'Not That Kinda Girl' was great on uStream :D what songs have they all wrote? Deeper Flashback Not That Kinda Girl Ready To Rise I Can't Wait Any else? Edited June 23, 201114 yr by LEW.
June 23, 201114 yr And the crowd seemed dead. The people were screaming when they knew what song they would be singing, then they were singing along and screamed with the sexy moves and when Frankie sung her bit...what else do you want?
June 23, 201114 yr The people were screaming when they knew what song they would be singing, then they were singing along and screamed with the sexy moves and when Frankie sung her bit...what else do you want? If you compare that to some other live performances they've done part of their summer gigs, the crowd does seem dead in that video. This is never going to work to it's full potential live, especially with a live band. The kick on the drum dosen't seem strong enough compared to the studio version. They need to do a Britney and and use most of the original instrumentation from the studio, with some live effects and sounds. How deep does Vanessas voice sound? Blimey. The melody of the final chorus's are so hard to pull off live, including Mollies intro. It works better when they're sat down (live lounge for example), but combine that with dancing, singing it and walking around the stage it sounds awful. They need to use some of the studio vocals combined with their live vocals, because this track seems really week live. Dosen't sound as beefy as the studio version at all.
June 23, 201114 yr I think the reason for Saturdays big jump yesterday was their U Stream. Dropping to #21 today is quite poor especially behind a song with no video and a 2,000,000 selling album. I guess Airplay has been Saturdays biggest downfall.

I mean, compare that performance to the one on So You Think You Can Dance. Mollie would be better off either miming or singing to the vocal effect backing track. Una definately needs it for the final chorus because it just sounds flat and boring without the chipmunk effect.
June 23, 201114 yr Chipmunk remixes premiers on Kiss radio tomorrow, if Sats had any sense they would release this for 0.79p as Chipmunk & dedicated Saturday fans would buy the song and could get them "Higher"
June 23, 201114 yr Chipmunk remixes premiers on Kiss radio tomorrow, if Sats had any sense they would release this for 0.79p as Chipmunk & dedicated Saturday fans would buy the song and could get them "Higher" So they really are trying to keep this Top 40 for as long as possible aren't they? Don't blame them, they need it. Interested to hear it!
June 23, 201114 yr I'm not sure if the Chipmunk version is going on Itunes, If they don't that's stupid! I think with Sats & Chipmunk fans Notorious could get an extra 3,000+ sales from Fri-Sat alone! And get them 15-17 come sunday! Edited June 23, 201114 yr by lee wallace
June 24, 201114 yr id imagine that the next single will not be OAOS as it clearly hasnt worked for the sats
June 24, 201114 yr ^ But by that reckoning it might have peaked higher but would have fell so much quicker. I think any effect OAOS has on sales is negligible. To me at least, it seems clear that the reason this single is under performing is the drastic change in style of the song from the usual Saturdays sound.
