They've stated in interviews that Notorious will not be 'sound' of the album, so I expect this to be a one-off. All Fired Up still sounds in that vien however from that small clip.

where is that clip?

18. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party 25.5%

19. The Saturdays - Notorious 24.1%

At least Graham Norton and Friday Download has gained Notorious an extra 8% Hopefully they get a bigger boost on Monday from repeat as it dosen't clash with Alan Carr and more people will be back from glastonbury!

LOL @ the T4 performance where Rochelle is singing "closer baby look in my eyes" at the very end and nothing is coming out. Interesting...

0.003% away from overtaking the Black Eyed Peas. I'm a bit dissapointed that their 3 performances over the last 24-48hrs haven't done much for them. I thought It'd be Top 15 on iTunes at least by now. Hope it climbs next week though. I'm guessing it will have done around 17-19k this week, which could bring it up to 78k. It could potentially cross the 100k mark by Sunday 03rd July. I'm only expecting this to sell in the long run over 150k if radios keep shunting this.

#36 is their worst peak on the Airplay chart isn't it?

Also, #19 on the Almost Saturday chart, and #5 in the physicals.

I think she forgot to sing that line as Vanessa normally takes it, but because Vanessas voice isn't in great condition lately Rochelle was going to cover it again. However that dosen't really explain why Rochelle was 'miming' to Vanessas part . The only other explanation could be that there was a mic fault as you can vaguely hear her coming back in for "do you recognise me?" line.

I agree, they have still not overtaken Bep. The Song is 59p and should be going higher. Their airplay must not been improving that much this week either! I don't really see it on television or hear Notorious on the radio. The song's sold 69,000 so should be on around 85,000-87,000 this week and will cross 100,000 the following week. It should outsell Forever Is Over.

Anyway Monday's going to be a vital day for them (DayBreak,Lorraine,ThisMorning,Paul O Grady repeat) this alone should really help it get to around #13 on iTunes.

13. Nicki Minaj - Superbass. 31.8%

14. Rihanna - California King Bed 31.1%

15. Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song 31.1%

17. Jennifer Lopez - I'm Into You 29.8%

18. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Stop The Party 26.7%

19. The Saturdays - Notorious 26.4%

You're setting yourself up to fail with expectations like that.

Graham Norton is far better promotion than Daybreak/Lorraine/This Morning combined.

Let's face it, majority of people watching This Morning have watched Lorraine as well.

The gap between 13-18 isin't large so is very possibile and there isin't alot of new entries this week either! Graham Norton should have strong viewers again on monday so should get a massive boost from that!

The single is dead. It's peaked on airplay and TV, has been Radio 1 A-Listed (and will be dropped next week, i'd imagine), has had two high profile TV appearances plus a few minor ones and hasn't sold 70K yet. :( It's time to just drop the campaign because without the price cut, Notorious would have been out of the top forty last week.

Notorious can now join the "potentially big, but missed opportunites" list again with.....all their other singles. :(

Shadow I was just away to say that! The single is dead. It's now 0.7% behind Black Eyed Peas. I hope this teaches them a lesson. I really do!

In all fairness though, this isn't their best single and is no-where near their best standard of pop. I'm glad that the label chose this track so they could guini-pig it for on air/on sale. I love Notorious but it's not as good as their previous hits Ego, Up, Higher etc.

The first single from any album is usually one of the weaker tracks on the album, so I expect great things from this album. They said in an interview that the album isn't going to be all based around the Notorious sound, although that will be one of the "many genres" on the album. I think All Fired Up is in the same vien as Notorious so I'm not exactly quite shore how that's going to pan out.

Unless radio start picking this up (which I doubt because we're half-way through the campaign already now) it should spend it's last week in the Top 20 next week and then trail down the chart. Like Lee said, Radio 1 will probably drop it from their playlist next week too as it's coming to the end of it's Radio 1 life.

As long as it sells over 150k then this will be a moderate success for them. On paper this should have been selling alot more, especially after 2 prime-time TV slots, but like I said, this isn't as good as some of their previous singles. Good yes, their best? No.

0.001% from #18 on iTunes by the way :)

I still fail to understand why their airplay is so bad? I expected them to be top 10 for both, arguably top 5! Missing You went to number one & Higher's had more radio play this year than Notorious. #36 is their worst radio airplay, even Wonderland - Starlight got better airplay!

If i'm going to be honest, I don't think radios have a problem with it. It's the fact that they've done air on/on sale. When it started to bomb down the Top 40, the people who decided the playlists would have taken this into account. It's not fair as radios should know how records are going to be released, and it annoys me that acts like JLS and The Wanted are ovioding this, cheating by not using on air/on sale like the majority of artists in the industry do now.

Radio 1 wouldn't have A-Listed it if they thought it was $h!t, so there is no problem with the quality or likeability (although everyone to their own). It's the perception that it flopped which has gave Notorious an early grave. Radios have killed this - they obviously don't "l-l-love this traccck" (pardon the pun)

2nd Adventure, I have to disagree look at Coldplay they bombed worse than Sats and are #02 on Radio Airplay without a video!

I hope radio's notice another climb this week and play it way more next week! Next week should be another climb for Sats what's not usuall! I still think Notorious will sell 200,000. 88,000 should be next week and around 106-109,000 the following week. It should still remain in the charts for around 4-6weeks and sell good in the background!

I kinda just want it to bomb now. If it sells around as much as Forever Is Over no doubt The Sats and their label will call it a 'success' and they'll continue the trend of releasing crap lead singles in future (if they get another album).

Everything about this campaign has just frustrated me. The song itself is good, but nowhere near strong enough and I despise the vocal effects. The video is pretty 'meh' except for the first half, the live performances have been dreadful without the vocal effects (especially with Vanessa's voice), radio aren't playing it, it's not getting much TV rotation, it's having a poor chart run, it's just been such a waste. :(

There's only so many times they can screw up. I think the last time they got a release 100% correct was 'Issues'.

Eugh. Why are you comparing Coldplay to The Saturdays? They appeal to a completely different market.

And why do you keep flip-flopping between saying the single will rise next week/sell 200k and then the next moment you're saying it's over and it's flopped.

TBF if the single was a LOT BETTER (like the majority of their other songs) then it would've done much better. No amount of promotion would've saved them from this flop and it's foolish to keep insisting it would've ever done better than this. They're lucky it went Top 10. It's a totally average song, trying (and failing) to copy the current 'in' sound. If this song teaches them anything, I hope it's not to blatantly, and badly, rip-off another sound and expect it to do well with some half-arsed promotion.

It will sell around 200,000 and rise next week, that dosen't mean that it's not underperformed!

Smell of desperation in the air!

Chipmunk remix on iTunes.

There's also a 'single' which is a remix of Notorious & Not That Kinda Girl.

Notorious feat Chipmunk is on iTunes! Hope Notorious climbs top 15 this week

All remixes are 59p and karoke version 59p! Purchased the Karoke version and chuckie version

Also bought Jorge Schmit & chipmunk version for 99p.

Should really get a coupl eof more downloads next week with Chipmunks version. Delighted you can buy Not that kind of girl!
