TEOG is going to drop a bit with the POG boost now starting to wear off, but it should stabilise soon and radio play should pull it upwards. I still think its touch and go whether it actually can reenter the top 10; I really hope it does as it is too good a track to miss out.

 

LFN will be top 10 by early afternoon I think. It should shoot up to #6 in no time as well, I reckon it could be as high as #3 by midday Friday (when its climb will be halted a bit again due to the weekend effect).

Wasn't Viva La Vida legally available but ineligible to chart for a few weeks due to some rule about it being a pre-order from an as then unreleased album and therefore part payment of said album?

 

As soon as the song was chart eligible it was still selling enough to get them a week at #1 but if not for that rule then it would have been top ten for quite a few weeks beforehand.

 

Or am I remembering this completely wrong? :unsure: There've been so many ridiculous chart rules over the years that I can barely keep track of them in my mind!

That's what I said a couple of days ago saying that TEOG might never get to top 10 and even if it does, only #10 :(

Its not the same situation, EOG has been in the top 10 before, its even hit #1 on iTunes didnt it? Its already peaked at #6 and now has 3 versions which makes it top 10 when combined so its not same situation as the songs which hang around outside top 10 for ages and doesnt make it ie. Superbass as a current example.

 

Bounce holding up well, a lot of people expected it to be very front loaded.

The A Team also holding up very well, still havent heard it on radio or TV myself.
