The Edge Of Glory is most likely top 10 combined, it should boost it so the song goes top 20 this week and hopefully back into top 10 the next.

Hopefully it will continue to rise after gathering considerable airplay and music video plays (even though the video is...)

11. The Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa

51. The Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa

60. The Edge of Glory - Lady GaGa

 12. The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars -_-

 13. Super Bass - Nicki Minaj

 14. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) - Katy Perry

I so want Katy Perry to get to no.1, she's not even Top 10 yet

I was flicking through the music channels last night and GaGa's new video (which I love! It's like a snippet from an 80s Rocky/Flashdance-type film) was being played repeatedly on loads of channels. Also, J.Lo was dominating the likes of MTV, Viva and 4Music etc with either OTF or IIY.

Weekend Effect. Also, GaGa inevitably pushed her down.

J.Lo's suddenly so relevant again all of a sudden, it's bizarre - I really thought that she was over in 2007 and that Louboutins was the final nail in her music career coffin.

Yet now when I'm not hearing On The Floor or I'm Into You, Heart appear to have brought If You Had My Love and Ain't It Funny back from the dead after not hearing them on the radio literally since they first came out.

I've noticed Heart seem to do that. Like when an artist gets popular again they play all their old songs (rather than the new ones ). I also noticed a lot of the time when a song gets popular in the charts that samples an older song, they suddenly start playing the originals again. Like that happened with Professor Green's 2 singles from last year, for example. I don't know if they were trying to make a point or something.

Seriously, mark my words, when Mann and Jason Derulo's songs get popular, watch them suddenly start playing the originals again.

I also heard them play Firework and Dynamite for the first time recently! :o

'Return Of The Mack' doesn't strike me as a particularly Heart-friendly song. Show Me Love maybe.

I think Heart would love it. They're probably already playing it (although I haven't heard it on there in a while). Seriously, I bet they research songs that use samples that will be popular in a future.

Cant believe Edge Of Glory is at #60, #51 & #11! Very impressed, must be the new video, Paul O Grady and the advert for Google Chrome which i saw a few times in one day yesterday that she appears in.

Disapointed I'm Into You hasnt even moved up ONE place since Alan Carr (which is a very popular show) but its doing well to still be at #10 its done really well and obviously not over yet. :D

Unless Vato Gonzalez is massive next week, it looks like Example will hold onto #1 for a third week. :D

Calvin is back on the down, down to 0.88 of Example, while Pitbull is well and truly out of the race, he's only on 0.79. He'll probably gain on Example again today and tomorrow but with the weekend effect disappearing he'll once again slip behind on Monday.

EDIT: Actualy, Jason Derülo is out too, he could also challenge for #1.

Return of the Mack is a very Heart friendly song, I always hear it on there - I mean, take a look for yourself;

Likewise Robin S, so in reply to Eric, Heart don't need any more of an excuse to play these two songs any more than they already do!

Ugh. That really worries me. They're playing it like once a day! I genuinely think they're still going to be playing Empire State of Mind once a day in 2035. :puke: And then the kids will think "Gosh, this is the only thing they're still playing from 2010, that year must've sucked!".

I can't believe Example might manage 3 weeks! :o Good for him. It might do like Good Times did, but I doubt that, since it had such high first-week sales. It's clearly a more popular song than that was.

Also, I'm literally 100% sure Jason Derulo will not get #1.

Huh, I stand corrected then.
