End of an era.

I saw it coming, she is hardly in the soap these days since Peggy has gone, she probably end up emigrating to New Zealand to be with her other son.

I can also see Dot leaving probably next year

Am I the only one who found the whole Kat forgivving Ronnie scene pathetic, cheesy, badly acted and completley out of place and character? It was horrendous, and ruined an otherwise brillian episode.

Yeah You are! LMAO

I wish we could have Julia's theme every night!

I've just been youtubing Julia's Theme exits, I love them that much! :P

There was something slightly odd regarding Jesse's performance when forgiving Ronnie. I didn't find that entirely convincing

The heart of the episode was Ronnie and Roxy's relationship and Rita Simmons did an ok performance. My heart slightly aches for Ronnie because even though so much of Ronnie's stories have been heartache, the backbone of both characters have always been each other and the fact that came full circle for Ronnie's exit was perfect. Similar to Peggy's exit when her character's backbone had always been The Vic and that it's self came full circle when it was destroyed in a fire.

Exactly. And I really don't believe, given what Kat has gone through and the way she's made clear she feels about Ronnie, that Ronnie not wanting to defend herself would make her change her entire outlook.

I kind of agree on the forgiveness scene - everything else in the ep was utterly gripping and convincing from Sam and Jessie, but that bit was entirely unconvincing :(
Oh my GOD the duff duff then was supremely ridiculous! I loved it!
Janine was amazing in tonight's episode! I loved that the people who were acting worst to her saw that she's become a millionaire. Go Janine!
I loved that Janine got it all - how ridiculously far-fetched, but also amazing that Pat and Ricky just happened to walk over as her was telling her.

I LOVE JANINE SO MUCH. <3

I've also been finding Michael more and more attractive...

He's incredibly sexy! The sight of him in that maroon trenchcoat really does it for me...
LOVED tonight's ep :D You go Janine! She's a bitch and all but I really felt sorry for her when she had no money and was really happy when she got all the money! She's the kind of character you just love no matter what!

Gutted that

Pat's

leaving. I suppose it was getting to a point of being inevitable since she was getting less and less screen-time as time went on and hadn't had a major story in years but she's remained one of my favourites at least.

Only catched the last few minutes of tonight's episode. It just made me adore Janine even more really.

Seems like the return people have been speculating about will be

Amira in October

rather than the person we've been discussing. It's DS 'insiders' though so take it with a vat of salt.

Inevitable... Should be good though.
The return of

Amira would certainly make more sense in that unlike Sharon, she definitely DOES have unfinished business in the Square and a purpose for being there. I'd welcome it.

Loved last night's episode. I did laugh at Janine failing to get packback at Ian but ended up drenching herself. It was nice to see Kat and Alfie having a laugh.

Spoiler about Vanessa finding out about Tanya and Max;

EastEnders character Vanessa Gold will reportedly attack Tanya Jessop when she discovers her affair with fiancé Max Branning.

Vanessa (Zoe Lucker) will storm into Tanya's home and punch her, resulting in the pair fighting on the floor in front of Tanya's son Oscar and husband Greg.

The News of the World suggests that Tanya (Jo Joyner) will end the affair after Max's brother Jack (Scott Maslen) finds out. Max (Jake Wood) dumps Vanessa and confesses all, leading to the fight.

"She hunts Tanya down to her house and forces her way in before attacking her," a source said. "There is nothing like a woman scorned but Tanya doesn't take it lying down. She gives back as good as she gets. It leaves little Oscar in a right state."

However, the Daily Star Sunday claims that Vanessa only discovers the affair when Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) decides she deserves to know the truth, following Max's promises that no-one else is involved in their split.

"Everyone remembers how Lauren exposed Max's affair with Stacey Slater - it was one of the soap's most dramatic episodes ever," another source said.

"So bosses decided it would be brilliant if she ruined her dad's love life all over again by telling Vanessa he's a cheat."

The scenes will air later this summer.

Also later this month,

Ian comes onto Denise

LOL

A conflicting spoiler I read suggests that

Lauren tells Vanessa LOL
