Also, of all of the recently-axed characters to bring back, they've decided to give Greg a second chance. Story's on DS.

Also, Ben's

first kiss with Duncan

is on September 2.

Unlikely since Ben isn't even back in Walford until September 9th!

And Greg is just coming back to tie up his story for a handful of episodes.

Am I the only one who feels a bit underwhelmed by the Southend episodes? The actor who plays Andrew is rubbish at any acting involving facial or body movement but it looks like he may become a regular eventually, Rose isn't nearly as FIERCE as the script clearly wants her to be, the actor who plays Rob is APPALLING and the Ryan/Rob confrontation was limp and such an anti-climax. Not to mention Rob's return appears to be totally shoehorned in to give Ryan an exit storyline. Apparently that's Neil McDermott's last episode too?

I like that Heather may be finding love at last however, and that Rose and Dot will be taking their squabbling to the Square soon.

Tonight is Ryan's last, oui.

The week has been rather a mixed bag. It's felt extremely surreal in parts as it invariably does when you leave Walford. My favourite scenes involved Kim and Denise but I don't agree that Rose was not fabulous. I rather like her. She's moving in with Dot and Cora soon which should be a trio made in HEAVEN.

I rather like Rose she is a great addition to the Cotton household, Dot really needed someone she was rather lonely, I think its the only direction for Dot's character to continue in the soap by bringing her sister into the mix.
I'm loving Rose. If I lived with Andrew I'd probably be desperate for an escape too.
Oh I LIKE Rose, I just think there's so much potential to be entirely fabulous and she's not quite there. Dot/Rose/Cora will be magical.

I have a feeling I'm really going to love Mandy. Not sure why but I do think she'll be just the boost Ian needs.

Cora was great tonight. "I'm Cora - and I've got your number." She, Rose and Dot living together will be fab.

How long are the Moon brothers going to stay? They are awful, can't act and are not even that much of eye candy. The second brother to arrive is rather nice to look at though.

I'd imagine the Moon brothers will hang around for as long as they're needed - it could be years. Get used to them! Tyler annoys me but I love little Anthony - I'd like to take him home and look after him.

I have a feeling I'm going to really like Mandy too. She's a pretty good actress if I remember rightly and she's like a mix of Julie and Janine (only not as utterly useless as Julie was, I should hope.)

LOVING Mandy, seriously! Maybe it's early and I'm going OTT or something but she's great! I'm too young to remember her first time round :(

How can you judge whether someone's fit in well when they've interacted with none but TWO of the main cast?! Bizarre.

Anyway, I think Mandy's alright, but not amazing in any shape or form. Hopefully when we see her with more characters, we can judge her better. I'm still loving Janine though; her and Michael were such a good idea!

I do love how utterly predictable it is that whenever a female character (aged 18-50) joins Eastenders, Jark will immediately pronounce them a Goddess walking amongst mere mortals and the like. :D

Is there a better written and better played character than Tanya at the moment? Her scene with the doctor was so well played. She has this way of coming out with something really trivial and making it sound so heartbreaking. Cora was on serious form tonight too.

Joy Joyner is actually a good actress. She even had a good career going before EE

Loving Mandy. Wanna see Pat's reaction to her being back

Tanya's secnes in the doctors office were done brilliantly and it was almost like it was real, she delivered those scenes faultlessly, cora was also on great form and i just hope she stays around for a long time, rannie is really growing on me aswell, im actually loving their family unit as it also brings a new dimension to tanya.

Mandy im not sure on, i was never a huge fan even first time round, i suppose what im struggling with is her kink to albert square and for me and i could be wrong the her and ian set up is totally unbelievable.
