Oh no! Proper WAH moment at

Amira's possible death!! Although it would leave Syed and Christian with a ready-made child to inherit I suppose.

That's exactly why it can't happen!

Christian has behaved too much like a villain during the past several weeks to suddenly get a happy ending. Plus Amira is fab.

I'm also VERY DISAPPOINTED by that spoiler.

I am very much AGAINST the way Amira's being painted in a less sympathetic light this time around. It's been very obvious from the start that this whole arc was simply a plot device to hand Christian and Syed a baby, avoiding the tedium of have to depict the adoption process onscreen. It very much feels like the EE scriptwriters have thrown their hands in the air and are now just writing to satisfy those bloody awful and militant "Chryed" DS loons.

We'll have to wait and see how it pans out I guess.

In other news Jo Joyner is doing a truly WONDERFUL job at the minute. The panic attack scenes on Friday were pretty horrible to watch.

I agree completely on your point of Jo; Tanya finding out the news about Siobhan was horrible, especially as it was obvious what he was going to say :(

----David Wicks----

return confirmed. Full Pat exit story here: link. I've not read it, but I'm guessing it's very spoiler heavy, so please refrain from posting it here without tags!

I get excited about Amira's return after finding her awful last time and they turn her into a total cow. NO EASTENDERS. I had just got on board with spoiled, bratty but ultimately quite bland/inoffensive Amira and now THIS.

This Yusef storyline is basically a complete parody of those soap stories which run and run and run without any resolution EVER now isn't it? Not content with making him a total panto villain, everybody is blind to his schemes and literally two episodes after he's exposed, he manages to get Zainab under the thumb AGAIN. GAHHHHHH!!!!!

There's a storyline coming up involving Pat and Phil

and the car lot fire from 1994 for which I think Phil might have been responsible? Anyway somebody starts stalking Phil and sending him photos of some boy who was killed in the fire or something. It seems quite UNUSUAL to revisit an event from so long ago and I think it ties in with Derek's return. Carol tells Derek he can move into Pat's but Pat is less than keen which must be something to do with what Derek knows about the fire.

EastEnders was really really good tonight. I haven't been a fan of how Phil has been written for a long time now but Steve McFadden gave a really great performance. It's FAB to have Jane back and Denise's delight on seeing her was lovely. Amira stole the episode when she finally STUCK IT to that hideous oaf Christian. Good stuff.

Yusef had me shouting at the TV in disgust/outrage tonight. ARSEHOLE. My poor Zainab :(

According to The Mirror, HEV

will be murdered in a whodunnit

. Take that with a pinch of salt...

Why would anybody want to murder Hev? :o

I mean I'd be first in line because she's one of the most irritating characters on the show but I'm not a resident of Albert Square. I hope that spoiler is true just for the hilarity of it all.

That's positively RIDICULOUS

A whodunnit is what should happen when the likes of Phil Mitchell, Ian Beale or Janine Butcher eventually leave for good. Not poor harmless 'Ev.

I would guess Phil will be one of the obvious suspects, given he pretty much hates her presence in his and Shirley's lives, but I can't think of anybody else.

This is exactly what I was going to say! It makes no sense.

It's totally George :P Seriously the way things are going my money is on Ben.

She's looking good from what you can see. I hope she's not going to be anything like Lola though... that character/actress frustrates me and that's where

Lucy

was when she left. We don't need two thanks.

Nobody talks about EastEnders anymore. It was amazing tonight, so much history between Pat/Janine and even Kat and Alfie weren't going around in circles like they usually do. And Tanya was HILARIOUS. Hit up iPlayer y'all.

Tanya WAS funny. It's nice to see her enjoying herself though I was a bit unsure WHY. Isn't she all DOOM AND GLOOM these days?!

The scene at the end with Kat and Alfie was pretty heartbreaking, to think Alfie would make a sacrifice like that just because he loves Kat. I thought Janine put in a good performance too. I love her when she's fragile.

That was the first time i actually enjoyed an alfie scene and it was heartbreaking to think what he would do for his true love of Kat.
Really? I think Alfie has been a hundred times the character Kat has this year. She's just been awful save for some of the stuff after the baby swap. Her refusal to just be happy is really annoying and unrelatable. Alfie has my complete sympathy.
