I am FINALLY starting to warm to Lola. She's much better when she's less OTT. When she's playing the witty mum rather than the aggressive brat, she's very endearing as a character. I really felt for her when social services came to take Lexi away.

I completely agree with this! It's the first time since the birth that I've actually enjoyed Lola as a character and Danielle as an actress. Hopefully she'll be one to watch for the future, unless she turns in to Whitney part 2.

Agreed, it's a turd. It's depressing that they've got Sharon back and haven't properly thought out a story for her. EE is in a very bad place right now. The Heather murder aftermath carried the show for a few months but that's over now and they've got nothing else.

I'm not interested in Sharon's storyline either. I was really looking forward to her return but its all been quite a letdown.
Sharons return has definitely been a let down and it doesnt look to improve in the near future. I do like how Cora's storyline is starting to unfold around Lola's and Lexi's storyline, i like how they are portraying Cora in how she defends and tries to help out Lexi in her own suttle ways.
Cora is the best thing about Eastenders currently! My flatmates and I become more and more in love with her every episode.
Cora is indeed brilliant, she's fitted in perfectly with the Brannings. Did you know the actress actually played another character on EE around 10 years ago? She was an ex of Roy Evans.

is due to leave over Christmas, and HALLELUJAH for that! Hopefully he drags

Joey and Alice

with him!

No, he really can't. He's not even attractive. Dreadful skin.

No oil painting yourself Jarky

just kidding! Now get on with that character rate!

Oh great, first signs of this

Denise and Fatboy love story

storyline.

Can't say I blame him, she has a nice arse in that dress!

The storyline will be ridiculous but Denise looked HAWT last night.
Tonight's episode dragged a bit, but I loved the scene where Syed and Christian walked up the isle to "Stand by Me". Such a random ending though, and I felt it ruined the mood completely. They could've left this episode on a happy note, have the baliffs arrive early next episode, especially if they're not going to have a happy exit whenever it is.
Christian's vows were dire. If I were Syed I'd have hot-footed it out the building pronto. Overcliched. And I still don't know where this 'love' comes from. Just seems to me that they're marrying because they're the only gays in Walford.

Oh I do agree on that last point completely! It was nice to see a couple actually go through with a wedding/civil ceremony/whatever for once, but it's for the wrong characters entirely.
