whoaa that's wicked! glad so many people are watching it it's so deserved

 

i really don't enjoy the guy and 2 girls storyline though. the parts with the 2 girls on their own are funny but his bits are just really odd.

i loved the last episode. especially the parts at the water park :P

On 22 February 2011, series creator Darren Litten announced that the fourth series would be his final one, but that this did not necessarily mean that the show wouldn't continue without him.

He is quoted as saying if Tiger and Aspect wish the show to continue with other writers he wouldn't mind.

 

This latest series though IMO isn't a patch on the others.

 

With no Geoff (Johnny Vegas), Chantelle (Hannah Hobly), Martin (Nicholas Burns) or Kate (Abigail Cruttenden) there seems a big void.

 

That new guy that has replaced Troy is a disappointment too.

Probably because they don't want anything big to clash with Comic Relief, perfectly normal...

The storm episode the week before last was HILARIOUS, and i'm in LOVE with Pauline (the Drunk South African Woman). :lol: I HATED her the first couple of weeks she was in it, but in the last two episodes she's been AMAZING, i've been crying watching her, especially when she won the Bingo and got up screaming at everyone. :lol: :heart:

 

 

This weeks episode is the last in the series. :cry:

ITV has confirmed that Benidorm will return for a fifth series.

 

The popular comedy ended its fourth run - which premiered in February to an audience of over 8m - last week with 5.8m viewers.

 

Creator Derren Litten, who previously told fans that he had come to the "end of my Benidorm journey", will also return to write more episodes of the show.

 

"We're pleased to announce that your favourite holidaymakers will return for a fifth series of Benidorm that will start filming in July," an ITV spokesperson said. "We can also confirm Derren Litten will be back to write some of the new series."

 

Litten told Twitter followers that his head is "swimming with storylines" after learning that Joan Collins is interested in making a cameo in the programme.

 

Benidorm scooped the 'Most Popular Comedy' accolade at the National Television Awards earlier this year.

 

All the previous series have been shot at the Las Ocas/Pelicanos hotel.

The new series is to be shot at the new Mediterraneo Hotel.

The last series was absolutely dire, not a patch on the first two brilliant series.

 

Hope we see some improvement..

Ok I watched this the other day and my god has Philip Olivier aged :mellow: He used to be stunning in his Brookie days

I watched the first episode and it was horrifyingly bad. It really has passed its sell-by date (which was around series 3, but even then it was going downhill). :lol: Only watched part of episode 2, but didn't even want to watch until the end.

Yeah this has really well past it's best now. I'll watch it if there's not anything else on but now there's just a laugh or two an episode, it was the same last series :(

He has still got it *.* but yes he's really aged, you almost wouldn't recognise him!

Returns tomorrow for its eighth series, introducing a new family led by Julie Graham.

Love Julie Graham, hoping this will be good!

just gone through all the current series of this on dvd (series 1-7), and watched 8.

 

i am a massive fan of thhis show, particularly johny vegas.

 

think he's brilliant

it's the last in the series tomorrow (what am i going to do!). probably get out my box set and watch 1 of the previous series

 

hopes are high though for a 9th series, since the website of the writers confirmed it. (and these are the same writers who posted a few years back they would finish at series 4. lol!)

 

i just hope jeff/ the oracle returns. 1 of the main reasons i watch it.. i love johny vegas.

 

my only complaint about the currentt cast of benidorm is miss temple savage. i really don't think her running the hotel is exactly good.. she's not got a very friendly way of talking to the guests

I couldn't disagree with you more! The Oracle and his family (bar maybe the sister) have always been awful. That mother has got worse and worse.

 

Mag is missed.

 

This new family is literally the Garbys 2.0.

 

I like that Tyga is suddenly quite mature.

 

This only things saving this show at the moment are Joyce, Jacqueline, Kenneth and Troy.
