not sure about the James Bond advert, haven't seen it.. but it's also used in the new trailer for the new Mission Impossible movie that was premiered earlier today! :)

 

Yeah that's it. I got confused. I always thought Mission Impossible and James Bond were the same thing! :o Although I've never watched any of the movies, so I don't know. :lol:

Wait, Beyonce's Best Thing I Never Had video is premiering tomorrow? Wow a #1 secure for Beyonce then without a doubt. And THAT is why Beyonces management is doing great in promoting the album during Glastonbury during the week release AND releasing the video as Best Thing I Never Had has the momentum at the moment.

 

There absolutely is a doubt. We don't know until we actually see it how much it will be boosted by the video. It's entirely possible it won't get a big enough boost to negate the missing Sunday sales.

A video will still cause some sort of boost though, even if she doesn't hit #1, a top 3 is highly likely

A video will only cause a boost if it goes straight to TV though surely? And even if it does it will only have two days of video play to have an impact.

'Dirty Dancer' got a huge boost from #110 to #21 (89 places) from the video premiering and that hasn't even been shown much on the music channels.

Katy is steadily climbing up to #6. If she continues to rise at this pace (maybe a bit faster), when she reaches #6, she will quickly be boosted up to #4 as they are all very close. Hopefully she'll go top 5 officially next week.

I really hope 'Best Thing I Never Had' premieres today, it really needs to if Beyonce has any chance of #1 on Sunday. Looking at the source of premiere dates however, it claims Owl City's new video should have come out on Tuesday, which I can't find anywhere and has 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' for a Friday premiere when it actually came out last night. I am slightly doubting whether it will premiere today now.

I think the boost from a 15% lead to a lead significant enough to get Bey to #1 would be quite a bit bigger than the boost from #110 to #21.
