June 29, 201114 yr I prefer to give the physical product as a gift as it shows that I have thought about that person and what they would like, where as giving a gift voucher is a lazy present in my opinion, as it shows that you haven't even been bothered to go out and get a present, and you've given no thought, and not bothered to find out what that person would like as a gift. That's my opinion on that, but on the other hand I would rather recieve a voucher rather than get me a CD that I'm never going to listen to, or may even not like the artist, but I'd still rather the physical CD. You're just going to have to do some research on what to get me ;)
June 29, 201114 yr Since I download music and it's generally cheaper I'd much rather recieve an Amazon voucher. And surely you shouldn't have a preference for the second, you would surely give what the recipient would prefer?

June 29, 201114 yr Voucher for both. As long as it's a voucher for HMV, so I can go get the physical album I want. I buy so many CD's myself that people don't know what to get me, so I suggest the voucher and it's always good for me.
June 29, 201114 yr Depends who I am buying for  My Dads music taste is a total mystery to me so I always get him a voucher, my Mum's taste is very similar to me so I usually get her the actual CD. As for recieving, I prefer CD's :D
June 29, 201114 yr CD for both, it shows a lot more thought imo Edited June 29, 201114 yr by Chart Wizard
June 29, 201114 yr - Voucher - Album I always prefer to get a voucher, so I can decide what I want to buy myself. But I do prefer to give someone a 'real' gift as it shows you've really thought about it. And giving an album is one of my favourite presents, so I'm always buying them for my friends' Birthdays :P
