I think DJ Fresh will have 3 or 4 weeks at #1 (depending on if JLS get there or not which I'm not convinced they will) then Cher Lloyd will be #1 after that and quite possibly for 4 weeks as well until Example based on the current release schedule! (Although I'm sure something else will crop up to prevent there from only being 2 or 3 #1s in the next 8 weeks)

Did they bring the release date forward because of JLS?

Seems strange if that was the case as JLS is apparantly not released until 24th July. I reckon DJ Fresh will be no. 1 for the next three weeks - and even if The Wanted did get to no. 1 next week, DJ Fresh will most likely climb back to no. 1 the week after.

Then that leave JLS and Cher Lloyd as the next two most likely #1 singles. :( It makes the idea of 'Louder' holding at #1 for up to 7 weeks so much more irresistible as it's such a great track imo compared to 'Glad You Came', 'She Makes Me Wanna' and 'Swagger Jagger'. -_-

I can't see JLS NOT getting #1 as they will be ridiculously front-loaded with their 6-8 weeks of radio repression, and the song is actually decent and should easily sell 75-100k first week.

Fresh ain't gonna be selling that in 2 or 3 weeks' time therefore unless something comes shooting out of the proverbial woodwork I'd say JLS have it in the bag.

Rumour has it the new Pixie single 'All About Tonight' is being released on Monday, on On Air/On Sale. If so, that should at least go top 40? I hope this is not true as I don't want Pixie to flop with this upcoming release.

I think that The Wanted will get to #2 behind DJ Fresh if they have changed their release date. I am not sure if TW will ever get another #1 again tbh. It would have been intresting to see their battle with JLS though the week after, if they kept it the same.

Pre Order.

31. Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger :o This really is going to be huge aswell ! (31st July)

172. Example - Stay Awake [Released 28th August :lol)

Can't believe swagger jagger is so high on pre order already :o looks like she will get #1..

It's good to see not all British artists are abandoning OA/OS. There haven't been any major OA/OS releases by British acts since Coldplay/Nicola Roberts 4 weeks ago. (And Nicola is stretching the definition of 'major')

 6. The A Team - Ed Sheeran

 7. Bounce (Radio Edit) [feat. Kelis] - Calvin Harris

AS IF Ed is holding up better than Calvin :o

Calvin will overtake at the weekend though and beat him officially. He always gets such a weekend boost.

Pixie being OA/OS is NOT a good move :(

I know, but I'm still shocked Ed has overtaken him in the week!

Anyway, what happened to the Kanye/Jay-Z album apparently being released this week... Nu Detox

It's been pushed back. Apparently "Lift Off" (featuring Beyoncé and Bruno Mars) will be released on the 11th.

I think DJ Fresh will probably beat The Wanted, they would have to sell a lot to overcome that lead, although I do think this will do slightly better than Gold Forever did, its doing well on pre-orders

the only two other songs which I think have a strong chance are Cher Lloyd and Example's next release, and JLS (although it isn't actually in the Itunes top 200 album chart even though it is available on Itunes to pre-order, so there's a small chance it could miss out) I've just realised I haven't done a pre-order update in ages  thankfully there are now some new songs surfacing

It is obvious that Tinnie/Wiz Khalifa or Wretch will have a good chance at No 1 for much of August and for a good few weeks. It is likely to be 1 week No 1s for everybody else except DJ Fresh.JLS will get to No 1, the Wanted have a very slim chance.

I'm thinking JLS and The Wanted will miss out now actually. DJ Fresh will beat The Wanted, then we have Cher Lloyd. I don't think Example will get number 1 either, I love SA but it really doesn't 'sound' like a number 1 if that makes sense. I think Ed Sheeran might get a number 1 with his new one, it's not as good as The A-Team but it's pretty good and sounds more 'current'. Plus he's really popular.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I totally forgot Tinie/Wiz! I'm not sure on Wretch32, it really isn't as good as his previous singles :(

August apparently. I just want to hear Lift Off!

I can't see TIG or DG going to #1. I'd love the latter to though, it's probably Wretch's best single

JLS are released the week before Cher, in what will be DJ Fresh's fourth week on the chart. They could easily get #1 but I just have an inkling it'll sell poorly.

I can't see Stay Awake missing #1 regardless of what it sounds like to be honest. (I really need to listen to it - a Nero produced Example song sounds AMAZE!) Speaking of Nero, I really hope 'Promises' will be a big hit for them. It's released the week after Cher Lloyd.

New Ed Sheeran song? What is it? It's not on the release schedule.

Jay-Z, Kanye, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars on one song surely will be a huge contender, may take a few weeks to get there though if the video's not ready. "Till I'm Gone" may nick a week somewhere when airplay and video rotation kicks in.

 51. Turbulence (Radio Edit) - Laidback Luke & Steve Aoki

I wish Hitz would hurry up already :( Still #58

Ed's Sheeran's new one is called You Need Me:

Stay Awake better than CTWYKM (imo), but I just don't think it will get number 1. And Promises should be big, it's the best song they've done so far imo
