He's not alone.

:(

I don't hold out too much hope for this contest for me, I had hoped for a top 5 finish before it began.

Of the five Ryan predicted, I may or may not have given points to only one them.

I may or may not have given points to only one of them too! :o

I think my entry could finish last or thereabouts judging by the (lack of) reaction :o

I love it, but I can see that it might not 'stand out', but then again if I'm honest only about two songs particularly stood out of this pack for me anyway and only because there was nothing else like them, the classical song for example.

I can't predict a winner for this at all, almost everything that everyone else seems to be predicting for big things were not to my taste at all...

I really don't hold up any hope for my entry doing well at all. All of my Top 10 votes I preferred over my entry. :(

In that case, I really don't think I've given you my 20 at all then!

I had you down as entering either Philter, The Storm or When Galaxies Form.

I think that Peter Vronsky could be in contention to do very well as it did stand out and was quite a nice piece of music.

Nope, and in fact only one of those may have featured in my votes :o

I agree, although I wouldn't call it an exceptional example of the genre. I've been liking classical music a lot more recently so that may have been in its favour when it came to my votes, but I've heard far more stirring pieces of classical music in the past month or two.

I have just finished preparing all the scoreboard images, RFC-style, for 1-15 pointers. Now for all the 20's, one by one. :drama:

And I actually have only managed to make one small mistake, and it didn;t influence the final scoreboard :D

The results are at 7pm, don't forget! 20 or so sets of 1-15 pointers will be revealed. The rest with all the tasty 20's - tomorrow same time. :D

I have to say I'm quite interested in how this works out, revealing the 20 pointers last!

Pavel, can you PM me my votes back? I thought I'd put the songs into a playlist on iTunes in voting order, but I'm sure I voted differently to how they're ordered!

I'm pretty sure I'm coming last in this. It's a complete non-song but I had it stuck in my head for ages so I just went with it.

Ooooo, what are your favourite classical pieces? These are my favourite three:

Barber's Adagio For Strings (obvious but undeniably amazing)

Allegri's Miserere Mei

Vaughan Williams' Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus

I find classical music to hold more sentiment than a lot of other musical styles, all three of the above remind me of something or someone very special so I love them.

Classical forum now! :o

Pachelbel's Canon is my all time favourite, Barber's Adagio For Strings second and I'm loving the Ludovico Einaudi best of that I got very recently. Le Onde and I Giorni in particular. Not very exciting choices but it's a genre I'm still discovering! Oddly, before I was 11 years old it's the only genre of music that I had any time for, not that I can remember the names or composers of any of my childhood favourites.

I've already bought 100 Hits: Classical and 100 Hits: Classical Chillout so I'll see how many songs crossover but that is incredibly good value, thanks for the tip :D
