I like Swagger Jagger, and I think Cher has enough fans to get it to #1.

 

She does have SO many haters though! :o It's shocking how she can be so hated! But her having so many haters can't really stop her getting to #1. The most that they can do is campaign to buy whatever is at #2 to beat her (which I wouldn't rule out, because she is THAT hated, there's people that want her dead).

even with all the hate, Swagger Jagger has a fake version in the top 200 and is doing very well on pre-orders, I'd honestly be very surprised if it missed out

I think Swagger Jagger will get to #1, since a lot of people like Cher, and I think there are people out there that genuinely like the song (believe it or not :lol:). I like the song myself. I was hoping for a bit better, but I still think it's really good. But on the other hand, if it gets to #1, the hate for her would just increase, which I don't want to see. But if she doens't get to #1, all her haters will be really nasty and cocky about it, which I also don't want to see. So either way it won't be good. She could just not release anything, but I don't want that to happen either. :lol: This is such a mess. Can her haters just ignore her? It would make life much easier for everybody! :lol:

Airplay stops for the majority of them at weekends, radio seem to play far less new music over Saturday and Sunday for reasons I've never quite been able to fathom. That and the 'weekend effect' of songs being played in clubs, people being off work and able to buy stuff that they've been waiting for etc...

Also on a lot of radio stations on Friday and Saturday evenings they play nothing but obscure dance and electronica songs/remixes, so that's not exactly going to help the new releases either. What gets played usually seems to be either remixes of songs that aren't actually up for download or instrumentals of songs which will be big hits in 18 months time. :lol:

Where them girls at has had incredible longevity, back up to number 14. I think alot of that is to do with how big it is in the clubs abroad
