At least Nicole has released one US Urban sounding song 'Right There' - that's more than most American females have done (the only other US Urban female song I can think of is 'E.T.' which is only remotely urban and more pop) :(

I know, it's weird isn't it! Katy Perry sings on a hip hop beat. And Ne-Yo, Usher, Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg are using dance-pop beats. What is the world coming to! :drama:

Right There was very good. I'm so glad she released it. Having Wet following Poison and Don't Hold You Breath would've been just too much tbh.

To be honest aswell, I don't really mind if we get Chipmunk and Tinie Tempah doing American sounding urban songs, because honestly, the American rappers aren't giving us any of that atm...

I'd be quite happy if they *all* abandoned it... ;)

Don't forget Pitbull - his debut smash was a Spanish meets urban/pop song and now he's doing dance-pop. It's amazing how people change with the times and stay relevant. I love both 'Give Me Everything' and 'I Know You Want Me' - they're very different and it shows Pitbull can do many styles. If all dubstep took over the world tomorrow, I'm sure Pitbull could do a good dubstep song for his next album.

I remember only 2 years ago I was hearing a Pitbull/Nicole Scherzinger collab on the radio all the time (called Meet Me at the Hotel Room I think). It was quite dancy, but it wasn't crammed with a trillion synths like their songs are now. I wish they'd do more songs like that.

I'm glad they didn't. I hated the Nicole remix of 'Hotel Room Service'. :puke: I liked the Pitbull only version of it, that's until I discovered 'Push The Feeling On' by The Nightcrawlers

Aren't the Nightcrawlers releasing a new song tommorrow?!?! :o :o

I think the Nicole remix was the only one I ever heard. I didn't actually know it was a remix! I love the song.

Two things I remember about Pitbull from back then was thinking he'd be a one hit wonder, and I remember the music video to I Know You Want Me had a CRAZY amount of views on Youtube. And it had a very similar beat to Get Sexy by the Sugababes.

 20. Up All Night - Blink-182

I think this will do similarly to Linkin Park's RITD, going top 15 then plummetting.

You can dress his sound up all you like but it still is not going to appeal to me, because his manner of delivery has not changed...

lolwut? Blink 182 top 20?

Guys. Alors on danse has finally fallen out of the top 1000!

63. Katy Perry - Firework - STILL this high?! :o

85. DJ Fresh - Gold Dust

96. Wretch 32 & Example - Unorthodox - Why is this back?

106. The Wanted - All Time Low :puke:

128. Ed Sheeran - Little Bird

240. Beyonce - End of Time

397. Jason Derulo - Ridin' Solo

477. Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone

724. Pitbull - Hotel Room Service :o

843. Loick Essien & N-Dubz - Stuttering

That is weird, considering there's no talent shows on right now. It could go back T40 when it inevitably gets used on The X Factor :o :o

I don't get your point? It's a very long-awaited comeback. And blink-182 aren't exactly a 'moopygrin' band.

Agree with your previous post that they will do a 'Linkin Park' faster than we imagine though. -_-

They are for pop fans like me - the only songs I like by them are 'What's My Age Again', 'All The Small Things' and 'I Miss You', I'm not excited to hear their new stuff and won't be listening to it out of choice -_-

It's just weird that they're doing (relatively) well, I find it really strange they can go top 20 on iTunes so soon - though I guess that's more :o than  I do like 3 or 4 of their songs, and the new one is tolerable but I just didn't think it'd be top 20 yet (or ever tbh).

So the September 4th Diva Day battle has a new competitor in the form of The Saturdays with 'All Fired Up'.

I wonder if the Sugababes and Sats will be OA/OS...

If they all aren't, my prediction is:

#1 Leona

#2 Pixie

#5 The Saturdays

#6 Sugababes
