Rebecca Black is to release her second single 'My Moment' next week.

 

The 14-year-old internet sensation will debut the track on her YouTube channel on July 18. The song will be released to iTunes and other digital retailers the following day, says The Hollywood Reporter.

 

'My Moment' was co-written by Brandon Hamilton, who has worked with Justin Bieber, and Quinton Tolbert. It was mixed by Tears for Fears and Hilary Duff producer Charlton Pettus.

 

The music video will tell the story of Black's sudden rise to international fame and feature footage of the star receiving an award at her junior high school.

 

'My Moment' will precede a five-track EP which is due to become available in August. Black is said to be putting the final touches to the songs ahead of its release.

 

The video for Black's first single 'Friday' has been pulled from YouTube over a legal dispute regarding copyright. Before its disappearance, it had managed to accumulate over 167 million views.

 

Black recently guest starred in Katy Perry's video for 'Last Friday Night', which also featured cameos from Darren Criss, Hanson and Kenny G.

I genuinely think she could be huge if she's got a good promo team behind her.

The odds on this becoming a reality tv winners, debut single? :P

I still think Rebecca Black will be a one-hit wonder, with the title 'My Moment' I'm expecting a disney-ballad type song that people won't like :( For some reason I thought her new single was called "LOL" :lol: I remember seeing it on the release schedule

I seriously doubt anyone will care about this...Friday was a good laugh, but thats it really - a gimmick, you can quote me if I'm wrong btw :P

Will she get into the headlines again when 'My Moment' comes out and get the most dislikes on YouTube.

 

If people didn't like 'Friday' then why bother listen to it?

It's actualy alright. However it sounds really similar to "The Winner's Song" would be a nice singing contest winner's song as well. Bring on X Factor 2011 having this for the winner!

I don't like it at all, it screams blandness, cheapness and... amateurism? It feels like she didn't leave Ark Music Factory to make this. I hoped for a big banger from her, just to prove that she can make good music. And this one is just... so so so wrong on many levels.

Eurgh, why didn't they make her do fun material. Almost "I know my career is a joke" type music feat. Lil' Wayne~

I quite like the song, although I agree that it sounds a bit like a winner's song from The X Factor.
