How can I see the popularity bars in iTunes 9 & 10?

Use this link: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...aultSeeAllSongs

Then select 'View' and tick 'popularity', alternatively, in the headings bar (Artist, Album, Time, etc), right click and select 'popularity'

iTunes Popularity Bars

01. Demi Lovato - Skyscraper 100%

02. Lmfao - Party Rock Anthem 92.2%

03. Katy Perry - Last Friday Night 83.2%

25. Nicole Scherzinger - Right There :cheer:

Demi Lovato Sky Scraper has been removed from Usa iTunes :/

What?! Why on Earth?!

 What the hell?

Anyway, Hot Chelle Rae at #3 and Lil Wayne at #4 :o To think I originally passed off HTL as an even bigger flop than John when it took ages to crack the top 10, it's having fantastic US longevity and it even went top 50 here! Looks like Lil Wayne's career isn't dying after all

Adele now down to #7 but RITD is already the highest digital seller of the year so it's still doing pretty damn well to be top 10.

Britney now at #10 due to Demi being removed :P

She just tweeted an hour ago about being #1 on the singles & videos chart...not sure if she had a clue that it would be going down in 30 mins?!

 97. Take Over Control (Radio Edit) [feat. Eva Simons] - Afrojack

Finally cracking the iTunes top 100 after somehow being Hot 100 for the past 4(?) weeks. I wonder if this could end up being a fairly big hit in the USA off the back of Give Me Everything?

On an only slightly related note, I notice that only this, the DJ Enferno Remix of Party Rock Anthem, Scotty McCreery and Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera have any tags other than featured artist tags out of the US top 100.

To compare, in the UK there's:

2. Louder (Radio Edit) - DJ Fresh

7. Bounce (Radio Edit) [feat. Kelis] - Calvin Harris

9. Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Radio Edit) - Example

16. Mr Saxobeat (UK Radio Edit) - Alexandra Stan

28. Badman Riddim (Jump) [Radio Edit] - Vato Gonzalez

36. Sweat (Snoop Dogg vs. David Guetta) [Remix] - Snoop Dogg & David Guetta

37. On the Floor (Radio Edit) - Jennifer Lopez

38. Spaceship (Explicit Radio Edit) - Tinchy Stryder & Dappy

41. Beautiful People (feat. Benny Benassi) [Main Version] - Chris Brown

44. Save the World (Radio Mix) - Swedish House Mafia

48. Louder (Club Mix) - DJ Fresh

53. Bass Down Low (Tinie Tempah Remix) - Dev

55. Sun Is Up (UK Radio Edit) - Inna

60. Turbulence (Radio Edit) - Laidback Luke & Steve Aoki

75. Rolling in the Deep (Live from iTunes Festival: London 2011) - Linkin Park

81. Buzzin (Remix) [feat. 50 Cent] - Mann

82. Gold Dust (Radio Edit) - DJ Fresh

96. Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) [The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Song] {feat. Freshlyground} - Shakira

97. Young Guns (Full Version) - Lewi White

How odd. Perhaps the USA are just very unfond of Radio Edits. Or US iTunes doesn't release many.

Demi has been re-added and is now back at #2. (Was she actually deleted or did she just vanish from the feed for a while for some reason? I have a feeling it may be the latter given how highly it's re-entered...)

Adele's iTunes Festival London 2011 EP is #7 on US iTunes :o

21 is back up to #2 as well having been shunted to #4 earlier in the week by Blake Shelton, Colbie Caillat and Incubus (Colbie is still ahead) and 19 is still at #21 (oddly enough) :D

To compare, the iTunes Festival EP is only #11 on UK iTunes and 19 is just #36 (although it'll be top 3 this week officially, it must be selling the vast majority of its copies physically) although 21 is #1.

Someone explain why Booty Wurk is this high, it's been a free download on his twitter for literally AGES. It's not like it's even that great of a song, either.

Skyscraper really isn't connecting for me. I don't know why, but I just don't enjoy it as much as everyone else on here. It's a good song, but her vocals kill it for me.

^ Maybe nobody follows him on Twitter.

Although free downloads don't really seem to hinder chart success. The biggest songs of 2009 and 2010 (Boom Boom Pow and Tik Tok) were both available for free download before their release! :o

I really hope Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) can eventually get to #1 on the Hot 100 but it looks likely it'll end up peaking at #2 behind Party Rock Anthem :( Although it still hasn't even progressed past #4 so it might not even get as high as #2!

Ah well, at least it's already been #1 on the better chart. <_< It's a shame no one cares about the Digital Songs chart and it's all about the rendered-meaningless-by-stupid-airplay-rules Hot 100.

It would be a shame if it missed #1. It would be cool for Katy to get 5 #1s imo. Especially given how quickly it took off after the video was released. I thought it had a really good chance at the #1.
Demi Lovato is down to 6 now, getting removed from iTunes has cost her dearly! Could be the differnece between a top 5 placing this week.
It really has hurt her pretty badly, I'll be surprised if she debuts top 10 at this rate.

 3. How to Love - Lil Wayne

 4. Give Me Everything (feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer) - Pitbull

 5. Tonight Tonight - Hot Chelle Rae

 6. Skyscraper - Demi Lovato

:left: 7. Rolling In the Deep - ADELE

:left: 8. Super Bass - Nicki Minaj

There's only 0.042471 difference between Wayne and Minaj (asnd only 0.015486 between Wayne and Demi) so expect a lot of swicthing of places in this region.
