Would Nicki Minaj be a future possibility for Hot 100 #1 if she gets back into the iTunes top ten, seeing as she still seems to be gaining Airplay, whilst Katy and LMFAO begin to drop?

 

Realistically, I don't think there's a chance that Superbass will go number one on the Hot 100. She's gaining in Airplay but I doubt she will get number one unless she releases a Superbass remix with somebody like Britney Spears.

She could've got #1 without the remix, to be fair. The issue here was that they released the music video too early, so it peaked on sales when it low on airplay. They should've waited for airplay to increase a bit more before releasing the video, then I'm sure it would've done it easily.

 

About Nicki, I'm almost certain she wouldn't get #1, but then again, did I ever think I'd see her even get a top 3 hit?

LOUD was deleted off iTunes for a few hours in every country for no reason. SO all the album tracks are climbing back up iTunes. Cheers probably would have been top 10 by now if that hadn't happened.

- Moves Like Jagger (very likely)

- Last Friday Night (not likely, but a second week would be nice)

- Party Rock Anthem (sort of likely, wouldn't mind a 7th week but I'd want the others more)

- She Will (only if the stars align or something, would be a little annoyed as it's DEFINITELY not #1-debut material, much less Lil Wayne's second solo #1 material)

'Best Thing I Never Had' was and is a hit in the US; in the UK, if she'd flopped as hard as she did with 'Run the World', then radio wouldn't touch her, but seeing as it's the US, they gave the song a chance as it's been top twenty for a month now.
