Adele #1 for a third (non-consecutive) week on the Hot 100 as expected :D Its digital sales have also passed the 2 million mark (2.008m as of the close of the last Digital Songs chart tracking period, to be more precise) and RITD is on 5.3m, Chasing Pavements 1.2m according to the Billboard report.

Pumped Up Kicks is #3 yet again, seventh week in a row now. The record for weeks at #3 (for a song that peaked there at least) is 11 weeks according to Billboard, I wonder if PUK can match or beat that? I can certainly see the top 3 all being non-movers again next week which would place Foster The People joint 2nd for longest run at #3 for a #3 peaker.

Full top 10:

1 Adele - Someone Like You

2 Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger

3 Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks

4 LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It

5 Gym Class Heroes feat. Adam Levine - Stereo Hearts

6 LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock - Party Rock Anthem

7 Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love

8 David Guetta feat. Usher - Without You

9 Cobra Starship feat. Sabi - You Make Me Feel...

10 Lady Gaga - Yoü And I

The only other position given in the report is T-Pain feat. Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen - 5 O'Clock is at #30. Lily's first Billboard top 40 hit apparently! I thought Smile got there but it only got to #49.

I remember reading that The Fear charted in the Hot 100 aswell.

If Lily ever comes back into music, and 5 O'Clock becomes a hit, she could have a chance at breaking the US properly! :o

'Sexy And I Know It' is back up to #2. I was enjoying Pumped Up Kicks being there but I really have no idea how it got there so I'm not overly surprised at it dropping back down.

SAIKI is still not looking like overtaking Adele for a while though. With its massive airplay advantage I can easily see SLY matching RITD's 7 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 now (and non-consecutively which is arguably more impressive since it had a 3-week gap between its first and second weeks at #1), even if LMFAO do overtake it on iTunes at some point in the next four weeks.

Apparently Foster the People performed Pumped Up Kicks on TV somewhere. At least, that's what I read. Apparently it's the first TV performance they've done of it! :o Which is shocking for a song that's already such a big hit!

Artist Updates.

It'd be awesome if Snoop and Wiz could get to #1 on iTunes!! I never thought they'd even get to #2, even with the help of Bruno Mars! :o

Even despite the backlash against Snoop, Snoop/Wiz/Bruno is too much of a power trio to NOT get near the top on US iTunes.

Yay! They made it!! :cheer: :o

Although I wouldn't be surprised if it was down to mainly the same people that bought Strange Clouds.

I hope Jessie J can creep into the top 100 with Domino I could see it being a hit in The US.

Has 'Shake It Out' only just been released in the USA? It's not doing awfully well (already fallen a bit to #64 since the last pop bars update :() but that's not exactly unexpected after how badly it's done in the UK. Just hoping 'Ceremonials' can be big.

Coldplay are back up to #24 with 'Paradise' :o Anyone know the reason for this climb? (They really need to get a video out for it soon and it may become a belated UK top 20 hit, although it's *still* hanging around at #21 on UK iTunes without a video anyway)

Although 'Paradise' has also fallen a couple of places since the last pop bars update. Flo Rida at #20 with 'Good Feeling', why is it suddenly a middling hit when it was first released a few weeks ago and bombed in in the low 40s before vanishing?

A very nice amount of Brits in there and a good mix of older and newer stuff. Crazy that Adele has eight songs in the top 300 when she's only ever really promoted three of them. A bunch of old Coldplay songs are in there so I'm guessing that's because of the same reason Paradise has climbed so much recently? Good to see Written In The Stars still hanging around in the top 300 as well, I thought it had dropped out by now. Shame Tinie seems to be somewhat of a 'one minor hit wonder' in the US thus far :(

Most surprisingly of all, how on Earth is James Morrison of all people actually selling in the USA? :o :o :o Very pleased to see it.

^ Apparently the reason for Coldplay's climb is because it's had a discount in price.

Also, the new Drake song is being released tommorrow apparently! :o It would be amazing if it went to #1. It's had a lot of hype, and lots of people seem to love it.

387. Leona Lewis - Happy.

Not really a surprise - his last album went in at No 47 on the Billboard charts during its first week.
