Beyoncé is not exactly MS PERSONALITY is she? She's essentially another Britney - a blank canvas for producers to work their magic with - only with better dancing skills.

I really dont see her as a blank canvas musically. Far from it.

Oh she is, she shows NO development with anything she releases. All her songs sound 'similar' to stuff she's released in the past 'Best You Never Had'/'Irreplaceable' sound very alike. Most artists with that number of albums go through a 'creative' moment and she's yet to do anything that will ultimately change music imo. She's a very 'NOW' pop star I feel and will have a lot less long term impact than say Lady GaGa. It's a shame, she has so much potential but it's completely wasted I feel.

 

I don't know what acting skills have to do with anything (?!) but Beyoncé is a laughable actress. Have you seen Obsessed?

 

Of course she's more of an all-round talent than Britney but she's still a puppet for her label or producers.

That's what bugs me the most about her lol. People believe she's some sort of GOD when she's just a more talented (and sane) version of Britney.

 

Her Glastonbury performance was a prime example of it, everyone of Facebook were dabbing themselves with tissues at her sing a few lines and stop to whip her hair then sing again. Truly ridiculous.

She is a very "now" popstar. But she has been very "now" for the last 13 years lol.

 

I personally think she has progessed through out all of her albums including with destinys child. And yeah some of her songs may sound similar but lets be honest there arent many ways you can sing a ballad lol.

 

She may not have changed music but in my opinion NOONE has for a very long time.

 

And dont even get my started on Lady GaGas "impact" on the music industry. Great pop tracks with a something attached to her face or head lol. I love her but I hardly think she is original. Just different and something fresh that came alone at the right time.
