6 top 40 entries, could they all make it officially on Sunday? :o

The two Valeries are different songs :P One is by Amy Winehouse, the other is by Mark Ronson feat. Amy Winehouse.

They're the same actual song of course (both are covers of 'Valerie' by The Zutons) but for chart purposes they're different.

I don't think any more than 3 will make the top 40 on Sunday, maybe just one if the other entries fall away over the week. I'd love her to get 5 or 6 top 40 entries though.

I think Amy had a better voice than Adele. Amys voice was so different!

Definitely, Amy had an exeptional soul Jazz voice and the way she interpretated the songs was unique, she was a modern day Billie Holiday.

I don't get why 'The Edge of Glory' is so high in the official charts, it's only 28 & 156 in iTunes, and she's been there at least late Saturday too... Yet she's still #14 officially, and would've been #13 if it wasn't for Aloe Blacc price reduce.

She was higher than that for the rest of the week though. She started the week at #16 (on the highest sales day of the week) and stayed around the top 20 or just outside all week.

She's just been pushed down by JLS, Maverick and 3 Amy songs.

I think 4 Winehouse tracks are looking to go T40, with the latter two potentially scrapping in - or getting very close.

06 Back to Black

24 Rehab

26 Tears Dry On Their Own

31 Love Is a Losing Game

34 You Know I'm No Good

41 Valerie

Valerie will go T40 because it's at 41 and 45 - with three other versions in the T300.

Oh right okay, well i dont mind never liked Vallerie, i'd much prefer all the others go top 40. :)

Valerie is not 41 and 45. Valerie is 41 and Valerie is 45. Different songs. :P The solo Valeries will be combined and the Ronson/Winehouse Valeries will be combined but they will chart separately.

However, the three solo versions of Valerie in the top 300 might be enough for it go top 40 anyway. Ronson's two versions probably won't.

JLS just performed on This Morning, it is one of their best, how do they get so many catchy songs! Now about double Wanted? But The Wanted are still so strong at #2.

Can't believe JLS can get #1 so easily even with such an awful song. It surely is their worst after The Club Is Alive. When those young girls will STOP buying this crap ?
their performance on This Morning was terrible.

Those young girls are most probably the same girls that buy Cheryl Cole's records too.

I think it goes for me:

One Shot > She Makes Me Wanna > Love You More > Beat Again > Everybody in Love > Club is Alive

Have there been any more? I dont particularly like any of those really, One Shot is best.

Zing! I was thinking the exact same thing when I read his post.

I think 'The A Team' overtakes DJ Fresh over the next couple of days... I was hoping it would leapfrog the Wanted on the official chart this week too, but, looking at the popularity bars that someone posted, that looks too optimistic...

Wait, what does Cheryl have to do with it ? Oh yeah, she's in my sig, so everytime I'll be making a comment about a song, you will refer to my sig as a counterpoint ... HOW CLEVER !!!!

And I don't care who's buying Cheryl's records for the simple fact that her singles have been great, while JLS's singles have been awful.

YES! Adele back to #11! :w00t: :w00t: I really think it can go top 10 this week surely, Bounce, Last Friday Night & Give Me Everything are surely falling now and SFTTR must be gaining a little, % gaps anyone?

Shh calm down, i actually like Cheryl Cole (your sig she looks beautiful!) but its just a bit ironic you having a go at these 'young girls' who are buying JLS' records while they are the exact same ones buying Cheryl's. Without them she wouldnt have her success, and neither would JLS.

Also thats your opinion you think they are awful there are people out there who think they are great, and actually cheryl cole's records are awful while JLS' are great, its called personal taste & freedom to buy whatever records people want to buy.

So maybe when they decide to stop buying this 'crap' they will stop with Cheryl's too. -_-
