I wouldn't say Baby is one of the worst songs ever, but I do find it very poor tbh. I agree that Grenade is much worse than Baby. Possible The Lazy Song aswell. And Eenie Meanie. Talking about Sean Kingston, Beautiful Girls is really high up US iTunes for some reason! :o

 

Justin has some really good songs, like One Time (most people admit it has a fantastic beat, even if they hate the artist singing on it (I guess they kind of have to, if they also like Turn My Swag On :lol:)), but Baby is really boring. It's like Firework-lite (as is Next 2 You, ironically, although I think it's a very good song (I also noticed at the end they go "Oh na na", which reminds me of What's My Name? (not saying Rihanna was the first person to do that in a song))).

 

That's funny about him never saying "never". It's quite manipulative of him to break his promise to his fans like that really.

 

I liked Somebody To Love a bit. It's a bit shrill, but still one of the best charting songs from Usher this era imo. It's better than Dirty Dancer, DJ Got Us... and More (the pop remix) imo.

Exactly. The Lazy Song, possibly, if you really were in a mood to hate Bruno Mars, but not Grenade.

I just find Grenade boring. I know Bruno is a more credible musician and everything, but based on the songs themselves, I'd not listen to either out of choice, but if I was forced, I'd listen to Baby, as Grenade I just can't stand.

 

I also find teenage girls to be more annoying about Bruno than Justin Bieber. It might be because I'm a bit older, but I don't know any girls that are obsessed with Justin, but even girls I know in their early 20's love Bruno after Just the Way You Are. I feel sorry for them really. What pathetic behaviour.

 

Just the Way You Are is a vile song, and perfectly demonstrates all that's wrong with the music industry today (in my opinion).
