I never thought I'd say this about an N-Dubz song, as I loathe them all, but this is actually quite good. And it has a key change! I haven't heard a song do that in years! Hope this does well, actually.

I really don't want to like this, but I do! I love the chorus, the story of the video, the choir (!) and the key change!!! I'll try and resist buying it though when it comes out - I don't want to own a Dappy song - but let's see if I can hold out :P

Well, this is quite a shock to say the least. :o

 

Up until middle of last week everytime this video came on one of the music channels, I very quickly changed the channel. I mean...Dappy doing a good song? :lol:

 

...but alas I was wrong to be so hasty. I put it on Chart Show TV earlier and this was already playing the breakdown bit with the piano melody and I was thinking "oh I like the sound of this" only to then see Dappy on screen. :o

 

So yes, this is actually a lot better than I expected. :o I've now listened to the song in full on YouTube and I'm really impressed. I never thought I'd think that about a Dappy related song.

I have to echo others in that this was completely beyond what I expected from Dappy, and it's really good :o sounds very Written In The Stars-esque, the lyrics are a bit cheesy, but it still sounds good

 

I wonder how long it will be before we get X Factor contestants singing this? :drama:
