I really like both Criminal and Inside Out, and they are both mid-tempos so I don't know what to vote for... I'm going to go for Criminal for the fact it has the best chance of doing ok in the UK :)

I hope it isn't Up n' Down :o Criminal or Inside Out please :D

Even Drop Dead before U N' D

I love Up N Down! But I'd rather it was Inside Out, which is my fave on the album and one of my top 5 Britney songs!
Inside Out for sure out of those three, but Criminal would be a close second. Up N Down is pretty awful IMHO, and Drop Dead Beautiful just wouldn't have the impact of the other two.
I love Up n Down, i think it would do well in the US as its very radio friendly, and if i remember correctly it was the most cherry picked song off the album aside from TTWE which shows its potential, not to mention because its a bonus track and not everyone has it, it could help boost download sales and sales of the deluxe version of the album...but i doubt she'll go with it as the poll for the next single is already well underway, but you never know.
I think it was the most cherry picked track here in the UK too. I even think it beat TTWE from the album (as we received the single version which was higher) so it has potential in the UK.
when will a single be confirmed?

Most likely when 'I Wanna Go' slows down in the USA... right now it's on it's way to being her biggest radio hit of all time...

Really the only thing that could POSSIBLY save this era in the UK is criminal being next and her performing it with promo when she tours there.

I think the exact same as you.

It will be huge for her in America, that's for sure. If this is true then the fifth single BETTER happen and it BETTER be 'Criminal' or 'Inside Out'.

'Drop Dead Beautiful' has immensely grown on me, I love it.

So far with the first 3 singles, I would actually say this has been my favourite era of hers singleswise.

She really could save the era if she releases Criminal in Europe, X-Factor will be on by then - if it's released after I Wanna Go slows down in the US, which could be a few months! :o But whatever happens, I'm sure X-Factor will be on (in both UK and US) for her to perform, and it would definitely give her a much needed boost, then once it's big(ish) off the back of the performance, Capital will probably jump on it (OK, maybe wishful thinking), and other UK radio stations too. Either way, even with an XF performance, it could go top 20, maybe even top 10 - and then increase awareness so it has a decent chart run, even if it's only similar to HIAM it'd be an achievement for the era in the UK! I'd say either DDB or IO for the US, and a performance on US X-Factor wouldn't hurt on top!
