I highly doubt that. Sorry, it's just not feasible. He probably made a program to try and read the charts off iTunes something, and it simply doesn't work properly.

Same with the Almost Saturday Chart. I highly, highly doubt it's "made up". The people behind it probably use the download sites to estimate where a song will chart officially, or something like that.

Made up, programming doesn't work, same thing. The point is you can't trust anything LiveHits says. Besides, it's normally just the iTunes chart with a few anomalies which usually fling rapidly up or down within minutes before settling where they are on iTunes again.

The Almost Saturday Chart is 'made up' in that it is an estimate and not based on official figures. But it is normally fairly accurate. There's just no reason to ever use LiveHits as the iTunes chart is mostly exactly the same minus the errors...

Yeah, that's all true. You just shouldn't say they're "made up", because it's very misleading to people. The people behind those charts are probably trying to reflect the real chart, even if they might fail miserably sometimes. If someone "makes up" a chart, it suggests they're trying to mislead people.

Fair point I suppose.

I revise what I said earlier to 'LiveHits is bullshit' :kink:

29. Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own

101. Dev ft. Tinie Tempah - Bass Down Low

118. Bruno Mars - Marry You - Looks like it might get back in the top 100 soon. One of his better songs.

155. The Game ft. Bruno Mars - Pot of Gold

175. Wiz Khalifa - Black and Yellow - This is one of my favourite songs of the year tbh.

185. LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It

254. Professor Green ft. Maverick Sabre - Jungle - This song really grew on me when it was popular.

362. Lady Gaga - The Edge of Glory (Cahill Remix) - I hear this on Radio 1 quite a lot.

427. JLS - Nobody Knows - This isn't doing quite as well as Umbrella did! Although it's not all over the radio this time, to be fair.

544. Adele - Rumour Has It - This is doing really well in the US! :o

427. JLS - Nobody Knows - This isn't doing quite as well as Umbrella did! Although it's not all over the radio this time, to be fair.

They've had 5 other B-Sides since Umbrella and none of them have come close to Umbrella's success :P IIRC the B-Side to Everybody In Love did make the top 100 but none of the others did.

Anyway, is Marry You starting to get radio airplay now or is it just still hanging around? :o

Marry You got playlisted by Radio 1Xtra a few weeks ago. So yes, it is getting more airplay now, although I heard it on Radio 1Xtra back around the time it was used on Glee aswell. Even with just the natural hanging around, I don't think I ever saw it not in the top 300.

Yeah, I think Umbrella did so well because it was played so well on the radio. I certainly preferred it to Beat Again at the time.

that has really plummeted :o I didn't realise it was out of the top 100!

It has fallen very fast. It's rather strange really, since it climbed really slowly to its peak, and then dropped out of the chart really quickly. It's the opposite way around for most songs. But there is another version a few places lower, if I remember correctly, so it should safely get top 100 this week at least.

Woah at Nicki in the top 10! :o:o

I thought it would do a 'Hurt'/'Battlefield'/'[insert Miley Cyrus song here]'...

Except at #12 instead of #11? :kink:

I saw the title of that JLS b-side and thought it just HAD to be a cover of a 90s classic ballad. I was right, quelle surprise!

At least they actually do B-Sides! There aren't many acts that make them any more.

Cinema now top 40 on iTunes. :yahoo:

It's doing much better than some people predicted

Lay It One Me by Kelly Rowland/Big Sean up to #317!!!! :w00t:

Actually she was #267 yesterday so she dropped :(

101. Dev ft. Tinie Tempah - Bass Down Low

It's chart run stands at: (66-33-22-18-16-12-10-13-22-31-36-46-50)

So yeah, some huge climbs in the first weeks and then so quite big drops on the way out of the T40. If it's at #101 on iTunes, I'd expect to see it somewhere in the lower 60s/higher 70s come Sunday - which is a shame.

Hopefully 'In the Dark' will do better.

Double post, but:

08 David Guetta ft. Taio Cruz & Ludacris 'Little Bad Girl'

22 Foster the People 'Pumped Up Kicks'

33 Eminem 'Space Bound'

34 Christina Perri 'Jar of Hearts'

36 Jay-Z & Kanye West ft. Otis Redding 'Otis'

39 Benny Benassi ft. Gary Go 'Cinema'

90 Friendly Fires 'Hawaiian Air'
