I think Jar of Hearts would've been a hit without Adele. Similar songs were popular last year, such as Your Song, Love the Way You Lie, Part II, For the First Time, Like a G6, Empire State of Mind, Part II, Love You More, etc.

That seems to stick out a bit on the list  The others can be compared because they are ballads, but 'Like A G6'?!

She will be; but I think its safe to say with underwhelming sales (consdering what people/ her fans were predicting) and then by all accounts looks set to drop like a stone from here on out

I assume you're just trolling but I'd like to hear your reasoning for including Like A G6 in that list anyway. (Also in what way was Love The Way You Lie Part II 'popular'?)

Today's top 100 update

Two new entries today. Canadian rapper/occasional singer Drake's new song 'Marvins Room' (with appalling grammar and all) enters at #74. It's a 'hype' single from his upcoming second studio album 'Take Care'. Thanks to a reduction to 59p on iTunes, Swedish House Mafia enter at #82 with the Alesso Remix of 'Save The World' (the original version of which dropped out of the top 100 a few days back). Five of the six re-entries today benefit from the 59p songs being advertised again - Foo Fighters' 'Best Of You' at #86, Salt-N-Pepa's 'Push It' at #90, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince's 'Summertime' at #91, Tiësto vs. Diplo feat. Busta Rhymes' 'C'mon (Catch 'Em By Surprise)' at #94 and Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In The World)' at #97 (the latter being a new addition to the 59p list, with the other 4 having been reduced earlier). DJ Khaled feat. Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne's 'I'm On One' re-enters at #100, although it's still at 99p. Two of Amy Winehouse's catalogue entries exit the top 100, alongside dropouts from Friendly Fires, New Found Glory, Snoop Dogg, Adele, The Saturdays and Coldplay to accommodate the 8 top 100 entries.

What happened to the person who was doing exact percentages of how far everyone was behind the No 1.The Wanted also seem to be climbing up closer to No 2.
So what are the predictions for how much 'Swagger Jagger' will sell by the end of the year? I think it will sell 170k, with 65k of its sales this week.

I think 150k in total and about 70k this week

Um, yes, I was joking about Like a G6! Brilliant song though. LTWYL II was very popular! :o Were you living under a rock? The reason it didn't do anything in the charts was because you couldn't buy it. Same with Turn My Swag On. Definitely one of the most popular songs of late-2010, but you couldn't buy the song (the version that everybody liked), so the charts don't reflect that.

I think Swagger Jagger will sell 100,000 overall and 60,000 this week.

It may be one of the most popular songs of late 2010 for you, yes.

For me? I mean, in real life. The song was everywhere! I heard it on the bus every day to work for like 3 months. People were always blasting it out of their cars. In the police station near my house the song used to always be playing in there. Random cover versions by completely unknown artists were even charting (lol Greg Street)! The song was MASSIVE!

I'm just relaying observations I've made. I've not heard even one person, anywhere, listening something like Pack Up, or The Lazy Song, ever. Turn My Swag On was everywhere. Anthem.

I did say earlier she would do only around 70k first week.....

Overall sales about 170k would be fair to say, although I reckon she can easily pass 200k+ with a single TV performance.

I'd say 75k this week and 250k overall for Swagger Jagger, it's very rare these days that a #1 sinks without trace so quickly that it doesn't even go silver.

This is random, but the clip on the left of your sig reminds me of that episode of Big Brother where Grace threw a glass of water over someone.

Can i just add that Like A Prayer by Madonna is at number 109!!!! Been reduced to 59p and for the last two weeks has been consistently in thw top 200!

If none of the new releases make it to the top spot next week then I think David Guetta should have a good chance

So Cher might not be #1 come sunday? Interesting

She'll easily make #1

The week The Club Is Alive was released.. JLS had fallen from #1 to #7 during the week and most were expecting them to be around #2 - #3 or #1 with the sales being very close.. but they were comfortably ahead

Rizzle Kicks up to 7, Christina Perri up to 15 :)

Nicole Scherzinger has also unveiled the Wet video, so hopefully that will make a steady climb up the charts!

I love that song. I still even have Glee Cast's version on my mp3 player.

JLS actually fell to *only* #5 by the end of the week.

I was surprised at how far ahead they were in the end though. I thought Airplanes or California Gurls would be #1 that week, as I couldn't possibly see how a song could fall so low on iTunes and still be #1, especially since TCIA never had a big lead in the first place either. Moral of the story, Cher will probably get #1 this week.

Really? Well I don't watch Big Brother so I really don't know

Yes. Although I figured you probably wouldn't have watched it, since you live in Japan, and you probably have a life.
