Posted July 31, 201113 yr A random question. If Kylie did something like Jennifer Lopez did by releasing a song sampling a popular dance track with an added rapper, do you think it could be as big as On The Floor? Would it work for Kylie? And, most importantly, would you buy such a song?
July 31, 201113 yr I would probably still buy a non rap version of the song :P But I wouldn't mind her releasing a song with a rapper, as long as he/she was a good rapper, and didn't spoil the song!
July 31, 201113 yr Kylie + Nicki Minaj. Simply must happen! That was what I thought of when I first saw this thread! I would much prefer Kylie working with a female rapper, rather than a male one
July 31, 201113 yr SuperBass is just awful, complete waste of my time to see all the fuss about Nicki Minaj. Ever remember the BL disaster everyone? Stick to dance-pop Kylie, or switch to something you did in KM94.
July 31, 201113 yr Author She can still do Dance with a rapper, thats what On The Floor is. I don't really like Nicki :( I must say I am curious to see what Kylie and Pitbull could come up with :P Also, Justin Timberlake, even though he isn't a rapper. They did a good job at covering Rapture a few years back  Edited July 31, 201113 yr by Regina
July 31, 201113 yr I don't really like Nicki :( I'm going to pretend I didn't read that... :P Nicki's amazing :o
July 31, 201113 yr I dont see whats to great about Nicki either, kylie sampling could be good again, i mean the new order sampling on cant get blue monday out of my head worked brilliantly so i wouldnt mind seeing something like that again.
August 2, 201113 yr I personally wouldnt want Kylie to go down the rapping route or work with other rappers. She is a pop artist and I don't think it would suit her style. I think she should stick to what she does best and thats good pop music.
August 2, 201113 yr She still has us lot to buy her records, even if the general public don't! :P
August 3, 201113 yr Author Katy Perry and J-lo are pop artists and them having songs with rapping suited them. Well, J-lo has quite a few but On The Floor is more like Kylie's dancey songs.
August 3, 201113 yr Perhaps she could collaborate with a male RnB artist (like she did with Taio Cruz). Aslong as it's not with Chris Brown. :puke:
August 5, 201113 yr Author Maybe Kylie could duet with Olly Murs? :kink: OH, or Ed Drewett. He released the fabulous Champagne Lemonade last year and is meant to be releasing an album soon, I think that'd be a good fit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isHcuL2LMp0 He's also a good song writer too.
August 5, 201113 yr Author I was half joking but I actually do think they could work wonders together :P
