Unfortunately Ivi had to cancel her participation in Eurovision in Concert a few days ago, possibly due to the cut in funding for Eurovision. However, there is no doubt about her participation in Baku according to ESC Daily! :D

Press conference in London before Ivi's concert which was a couple of days ago. Love her reaction when she is asked whether she likes the UK entry - I think we can take that as a "not really"! :lol: She talks in both Greek and English, the English part starts at about 1:00 and her reaction to the UK entry starts at around 3:20! :D

I'm very glad that you like Ivi Adamou and her participation in Eurovision!! She was a contestant in the Greek Edition of X-Factor along with Eleytheria Eleytheriou and she was very good at live performances!! After the reality, she has released many successful songs!! I've watched all her music videos on her Vevo page and I really like them all, even though I don't understand the language. Voltes St Asteria is probably my favourite, very summery! :D

Voltes sta Asteria means Walkings on the stars..It's very summerish song!! Ivi has always positive energy and the Greek media always say the best things for her!!

Cyprus is one of my favourites this year so i hope Ivi does well.

Unfortunately guys, Cyprus is very low. Her song should be second or third!! It's an unfair when you see very highly the disappointed songs of Azerbaijan and Turkey..How many serious people vote for these two songs..?? "When the music dies" is boring as hell!!!

Of course I'd have loved Ivi to have done as well as possible!! But I think she still did really well beating Greece even with an early draw!

I disagree. For a start, Greece and sometimes Albania vote for Cyprus (especially Greece of course). Sweden only has 3 or 4 neighbours likewise Norway and those 2 are the two biggest winners in history.

 

I do wish Ivi had won, but she's still got a great result considering her early draw which is vital! :D

This song has done so much better than it's ESC position suggests - I was out yesterday, and talking to one of my best mates, who said that Cyprus was the best and had it on her phone. It's had more impact than lots of songs above it, shame it's Eurovision ranking doesn't reflect that.

Yeah, same here. A couple of people who I have talked to who watched Eurovision said that Cyprus was their favourite! If only it had got a late draw, I think it might have gone top 10! At least her label will be raking in the money from iTunes sales! :kink:

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ivi top 10 in the televoting results, with the juries bringing her down! It really is this year's second biggest success story - I'm so happy for her! :wub:

It was my second favourite performance on the night, really made me fall in love with the song again :wub:

My favourite of this years songs. It's 3minutes of sheer amazing.

 

I'd go as far to say that few can touch La La Love as a pure pop anthem.
